The picture isn't the best representation in my view. I truly enjoy this harness. We don't use the bullet much, however, when wearing it the harness can sit much lower on your pelvis than this. That's one of the benefits of the adjustable straps--you can position it as you want it. I assume the angle in the picture is solely for photographic purposes. On the occasion we do use the bullet, it works perfectly. It sits in just the right position to hit both me and my partner with the vibrations. The only thing I may say is that the bullet is too strong for me personally (it only has one setting, and it's a little on the louder side), but my girlfriend loves it.

So, you can position the bullet anywhere along the length that works for you. I was even able to fit my Salsa in that pocket, with room to spare when pushed all the way down. But the problem, as others have mentioned, is when thrusting with the bullet in place, it can be uncomfortable for some, however, not for me, (removing the bullet is really easy). I actually think a wider type clitoral vibe might be a better bet, but I don't know how well it would be held in place just sandwiched between the back of the harness & a body.
