I would say it's a better choice than some of the cheaper items. It's high quality and has a great warranty, for sure. My first toy was a Lelo as well.

I started with the Lelo Liv and love it, so I'd think anything Lelo is a good place to start.

Lelo makes awesome toys. I particularly love the newer control buttons on the Mona, and it will last you forever.

Lelo does produce top notch products but maybe find something with a similar shape to the Mona and decide if you like it. I've dropped money on really nice toys I was *sure* I would like then they were so wrong for my anatomy.

Lelo has a lot of interesting and worthwhile toys. I'm sure that you will enjoy these. Although it might be a little smaller than you are expecting, check your dimensions of the toy

I'd say go for something waterproof for your first toy. Lelo is a great line and very good quality. But I'd personally suggest getting some cheaper toys to see exactly what you might like and explore with them before the high quality stuff. The higher end products are worth it... but just so you know which shapes you'd like best so you know where to start with the higher end stuff!!!
