First vibrator for virgin with little experience?

Contributor: xoxolove xoxolove
Hi, sorry if this post is long. I’m new here and need some help. So, I’m a virgin, haven’t had penetrative sex yet but do have “some experience.” Just as far as messing around. (Feeling up, fingering, rubbing on clit by ex & self) Not trying to be TMI but I’m little & tight down there and 2 fingers sometimes hurts. Fingers don’t really do it for me and mostly what gets me going is the clit, but my fingers get tired after awhile.

I want to get a vibrator that is slimmer and not too big because sometimes I do get the intense feeling of wanting “something in there” so having the option would be nice, but also would like one that is good for clit as well.

I’ve been looking at traditional, classic vibes, but tbh, the diameters and girth and circumference gets me confused!!! I thought they all meant the same thing. Lol? When I think I’ve found one, I doubt myself bc I think it might be too big/too small. I just need something not huge. And something That’s safe for your body as well bc I also had no idea there were sex toys that were made from harmful ingredients. I apologize for sounding dumb. Just starting to feel comfortable with learning myself and getting out there

TIA

i have the same question here but from wat i seen most likely just look for a discreet vibrator cause those are smaller and don’t have as much width as others

Diameter is the straight line across (measuring side to side for width) circumference is the distance around the object.

Also here are some that might be alright for you.

Hey there! I think I might have some tips and some recommendations!

One thing that might help you avoid discomfort is lube! If even two fingers are causing you discomfort, my first question would be "are you using lube/are you warming up or getting aroused enough?"

The circumference vs. diameter thing can be confusing. But circumference is more like measuring surface area (measuring around the toy), while diameter is pure width (straight line, from one side to the other, through the toy). I typically only use diameter as a gauge, personally. The diameter of two fingers at the widest point is probably approximately 1", with some give or take depending, of course.

Here are some toys, just based on what you've said, that might be what you're looking for!

Beginner G-spot Vibe or, similarly, First time g-spot tulip

I recently tried and reviewed The Perky Vibe and think this could be a good choice for you.

If you're looking for something more on the full-fantasy side, this dildo is dual density (soft outside, firmer inside, so it should be forgiving), and is only 1 1/4" in diameter. You can actually see its actual size. Dual Density Silicone Dildo

Hope you find what you're looking for! Happy hunting!

Everyone's already made good points here, so I'm just going to drop a few recommendations based on what you're describing.

Few things before you make any choices though -- try and stick to silicone (not silicon!), stainless steel, or glass. They're not porous, won't harbor bacteria, can be sterilized, and are overall safer to use. Other materials are porous, and no matter how much you scrub them, they'll never truly be clean and can eventually cause problems. If you absolutely must use a porous toy, stick a condom on top of it, even if it's an external toy. Treat your body how you would want it to treat you - aka - infection-free.

Now, onto recommendations. These are as small as they can get here on EdenFantasys while staying body-safe.

Multifunction Silicone Rabbit G Dogs may be a man's best friend, but rabbits are a girl's!
Intensifier This may be labelled as an anal probe/vibrator, but it looks like it could be used vaginally very nicely as well.
Pleasure finger Looks adorable, might get the job done easily.

You could also look into a dilator set, which has increasing sizes that could help you get used to something bigger over time.

Remember, use lube, even if you're a very wet person! It feels good. Water-based lubes are best, as they won't interact with the chemical composition of, like, anything, whereas other lubes (like silicone-based or coconut oil or something) may destroy your toy.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

Thanks everyone so much for the tips and recommendations! Definitely feel a lot better since asking now, lol. These are some of the ones I’m considering right now, I’ve filtered them out to silicone as suggested and all these seem to be slimmer/less big or so it seems to me & also not very expensive as some are on sale. i have also read the reviews on them as well. If someone wouldn’t mind doubling checking me & making sure these are 100% safe & not harmful. Now that’s got me worried, lol... Bc I didn’t even know that was a thing. I don’t want to cause any harm or expose myself to any unsafe materials anything in anyway!!! Would like to hear thoughts/opinions!

I have silicone sassy g and Levina butterfly. I'm not home at the moment but later tonight I'll post a picture of the 2 next to each other to give you a good comparison. Also another one you may be interested in is one called midnight pal and also maybe one called flexi power. They're similar to the others you have posted. I'll add those in the picture too. I hope it helps!

Also here is midnight pal and silicone sassy g (for a review I'm working on) compared next to my chapstick.

I had the first pictures in a review I did. I'll post the others later. The one is levina and the other is flexi power.

Sorry for all the messages. Also if you hit on the little compare button on items you're interested in then click compare it'll bring you to this page and it'll give you different specs on it.

You're not sounding dumb at all! It is absolutely normal to be in need of advice if you have zero experience in some question. Besides, I guess there is a lot to learn even for seasoned sex toys users! That's why we are spending time on the forum - to share our knowledge and to find out something new about sex products and techniques!

The circumference is a girth in other words - a distance that you can measure wrapping a measuring tape around the shaft.

In its cross-section a vibrator or dildo is a circle, and its diameter is the distance between opposite points on this circle through its center.

The safest sex toys materials are, of course, silicone, glass and metal. But I'd recommend you to stick to the silicone options due to the fact you're a virgin, and silicone is more forgiving material than solid glass and metal.

Since you mentioned that you prefer clitoral stimulation but also tend to enjoy the feeling of fullness, it seems the rabbits would be a perfect way to go. Among products you're considering now, I guess the Perky vibe and the Levina Butterfly could be right up to your alley.

Also, you can opt for an orgasmic combo of two toys - one for clit stimulation and another for penetration, but I don't want to overflood you with advice and options from the beginning. So when you enjoy rabbits in the full measure and are ready for expanding your horizons, I'll be happy to give you a few recommendations
