Hitachi and apartment living?

Contributor: anonkitty anonkitty
I'm looking at a hitachi for my next purchase and am currently living in an apartment though, with moderately thick walls (i.e. can't hear the person next door, but if the person above me slams their closet close, I can hear it). Question: Will the neighbors hear if it's used under the blankets?

Thanks! =]

No I don't think it would be heard but if they hear it they won't assume it's a sex toy. It might sound like some type of fan or ac running or just some other electronic item. It's loud but it's not loud like a vacuum cleaner. If you want check out my review: link

Like what Kindled Fuego said, if they can hear it, I don't think they would assume it's a vibrator since it has a different sound. If you're worried though, perhaps turn some music or the TV on to muddle the sound a bit.
