We've all heard that the classic Hitachi wand finally has a competitor in the new Fairy wands. Does anyone own both a Hitachi and a Fairy? Which do you prefer and why?

Currently I only have the Hitachi but I'm very interested in the Fairy. For someone like me who doesn't ever switch her Hitachi off of low, is there any point to the Fairy? How are the speeds compared? If you were to use the Fairy during partner sex, how would you rate the comfort as compared to the Hitachi?

Victoria has both the Hitachi & a number of the new mini wands. She goes on and on about how awesome the Fairy Pocket Mini is. She says that it seems as powerful as the Hitachi, but you can also pinpoint the vibrations so much better since it is so small.

I never take mine off low either. LadyCallie poses great questions. I'd want to know which one is the best one out of all of them too.

I have the Fairy Mini and the Hitachi and I like the Fairy more. The fairy has a slightly smaller head, so I find it easier to use for clitoral stimulation. Also, it has the adjustable vibrational dial so you can find the perfect intensity rather than having to choose between low or high.

I have the Hitachi and I'm SO looking forward to trying out the Fairys. Yes, plural. I'm stuck on at least two of them, so I know I'm getting both ... probably within the next couple weeks. I very much plan on figuring out how they compare personally!

I don't have a Hitachi, I just have the Fairy Mini. Honestly, I may not ever buy a Hitachi. I've heard the videos... it's way, way too loud for me to deal with. At home, I have to be discrete. At school, we have thin walls. And... I just don't like super-loud toys. Between my Fairy and my Wahl, I think I'm all set in the super-duper-epic-power department, hahah.

I want this. In fact, I think I might actually need it.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Hitachi. It was my first vibrator, so it has some sentimental value as well as being damn good at getting me off. However, it is rather unwieldy and the cord is too short. Plus, the Fairy has multiple speed options, and the funky fresh attachments look like loads of fun.

Oooo is the Fairy Mini quiet enough to use at school and at home? I've been debating what massager I want to buy, and it's now between 3 of the Fairies (not the mini mini, since I have to buy enough batteries as is lol). I like the regular fairy because of the size... surprising, I know.. but the fairy mini seems to be a bit more quiet. Then the pocket fairy has the benefit of being portable and travel-friendly... decisions decisions. I think I've ruled out the Hitachi since it only has two settings.

I just received the Fairy. I've tried it once. I have to say so far I prefer my beloved Magic Wand. The Fairy has a rattly sound to it which bothers me, plus its louder, like an airplane flying through the room. There's no way the entire house won't hear you use the Fairy. If it were better at getting me off it would be worth it, but it isn't. The Fairy also makes a more high pitched noise which you may or may not find more irritating than the Magic Wand's sounds.

I have seen the Hitachi & Fairy in action in my opinion the fairy is much more powerful. Yes it louder but if i had to choose one it would be the Fairy it will knock your socks off

Can anybody tell me the difference in the vibrator head material? My wife always uses her hitachi with something over it because the material seems like it would get it isn't very easy to clean. The Fairy's look like they're more of a plastic though which might be better

I love my Hitachi a lot, but the Fairy seems like it would be better. I hope to try it some day. Idk which is best of them though.
