#AskEden - Mimi II Has Battery Issues

I always buy rechargeable products when available. The Mimi (Series II) has an issue holding a charge over time. My Mimi is about 6 months old. The issue started after 4 months. It wont hold a charge longer then 3 weeks if not used, even after a full charge.

Typically rechargeable batteries will last roughly 800 charge cycles (before they begin to fail). The defect with my Mimi II began around 20 recharges with this toy.

I originally rated this toy 4/5 stats. With the battery problem, this is now downgraded to 2.5/5 . Beware if you expect this toy to last.

There's a warranty on MiMi. Have you contacted Je Joue about this? It may be an issue with the one you received.

You're already passed the 60 days from EdenFantasys, if you got it here. Kira's right though, you should contact Je Joue about this.

Not all rechargeable batteries work the same way; some you can leave plugged in all the time and others have to be completely run down each time.
