I used to think I didn't like patterns, but I'm finding that a lot of it depends on the toy and the quality of the vibrations it has. With more buzzy vibes, I tend to prefer steady vibrations, but with toys that have deeper, more rumbly vibrations, I find that sometimes patterns actually get me off better than steady vibrations. Slower, more complex patterns can be great for getting me worked up, and rapidly-pulsing patterns are often what gets me off. I definitely like toys that have options for both steady vibes and patterns. Variety is the spice of life and all that, haha.

I despise the patterns. I actually wish my toys didn’t have them so I would never accidentally turn them on instead of the solid

A solid vibe works best for us they are a nice option though.

I think in the majority of cases I opt for steady vibrations. But I like having a possibility of switching between different patterns. Use several various patterns during foreplay is an excellent way to prepare for the main dish and also to add diversity into foreplay routine.
