#AskEden - Problems with the Zini Zook...Help please?

I just got my zook today, and It's been charging since 12 this afternoon.
When I first opened it up, I plugged it into it's charger right away. It's been charging four about 4 hours now. When I unplug it, and try to get it off of travel lock, it doesn't do anything. So I thought maybe I should let it charge a bit longer, when I went to plug it in it flashed blue on the minus sign side and vibrated a little.
Blue is supposed to mean that the device is fully charged, but it's not unlocking or turning on.
I'm not really sure what to do about this, or whats going on. I read both user manuals that come with the Zini, maybe I'm just missing something entirely.

Something else to note (because I'm not sure it's normal) the bit that plugs into the toy doesn't go in all of the way. Is that normal?

Zini products have been quite defective. So much that Eden has contacted Zini about it.

Aww...that must be why they are on such a sale to the point were they look like they are being discontinued.

I've never owned a Zini toy, so I don't know how they work. However, it does sound like you have a defective one. If you can't get it to work, you have three options. Return it for an exchange, return it and get your money back, or contact Zini for the warranty.

I have three of the Zinis and have never had an issue. I did have this problem with my first one but it was my error in the unlocking process--not the Ran's, lol!! Keep trying to unlock the toy--it may be the lock is just funky and you are not used to it yet. Try holding both buttons down at the same time for about 30-45 seconds to a minute.

A friend has this an they had the same issue but it would vibrate on the charger but would never unlock. Trying to get the label printed so it can be sent back.
