We don't have any G4s, so cannot offer a fair comparison but I can tell you Uma means business! She's one vibe that won't take no for an answer. This is one purchase that truly exceeded all the hype. Needless to say, Uma is #1 on our favorites list by far. We couldn't be more pleased!

Bottom line is... I prefer the Tiger simply because it is a more reliable toy. The Je Joue still has quirks from the reviews I read. I even had to return mine due to being defective. I want to get another Uma in the future, but I only will if they bring one out that has no problems.
But if you are not worried (or live in the States with easy returning if defective) some things to think about:
If you like texture- go Tiger!!!
If you like hard pressure against your g-spot- go Uma!!!
If you prefer more circular than oval- go Tiger!!!
If you like easier control panel while playing- go Tiger!!!
If you like hassel free recharging- go Uma!!! but both are rechargeable
If you want a little bit of length- go Tiger!!!
If you like patterns- both
Safety- both are very safe, only I find you need a toy brush to properly clean both
Waterproof- both!!!
Two things that sell me on the Uma is silicone covered hard plastic and the motor is housed in the tip, so cit play is great and direct vibrations to your g-spot. BUT to me it feels too light, and cheap.
Two things that sell me on the Tiger is it is longer so it hits my a-spot while thrusting so I can have a triple orgasm all at the same time (a-spot, g-spot and even a clit one due to the clit style bulge being hit with every thrust) and it is silicone through and through. The thing that I don't like about it, is that I wish it had a plastic inner so I could get more g-spot pressure.

I have no idea as I don't use such toys, but Uma seems to have a bigger reputation, so it may be as good as people say...

I have Uma and the g4 Tiger. I like both of them. Uma feels stronger to me though. But it's nice having both because I wanted something sort of realistic looking yet a body safe material and it's as close as I could find. I haven't had a problem with either of mine. The G4 Big Boss is too large for me, that is why I chose the Tiger because the circumference is smaller. That is another reason I would choose Uma over the Boss but that is just my preference in size.

I have the g4 tiger not the big boss. I like my tiger better than Uma, but it is really close. I concure with everything Woman and Zombirella said! BUT you asked about Big Boss. My advice here is make sure you understand how big that fellow is! If you check out the pictures in all the reviews and feel comfortable with the size I say go for it! You can't make a bad choice here, these are both great toys that come highly recomended!

Pretty much everything I said about the Tiger goes for the Big Boss (just no texture and much thicker)... only I find g-spot orgasms are more intense with the Big Boss because of the stretch factor. The Big Boss is a BIG toy so be warned about that. I find I cannot have any type of quickie with The Big Boss because of all the warm up I have to do.
If I had to choose between the Big Boss and the Uma... I don't think I could. The Big Boss provides me with more intense orgasms, but the Uma is better for more day to day play times where the Big Boss is more for special occasions for me. All I have to say is I am glad I have them both!!!

We have the G4 Big Boss and my wife loves it. The vibrations are close to the battery pack - so while the fat curved tip massages her g-pot - the vibes radiate out from the opening of her vagina - spreading throughout her pelvis.
The Uma on the other hand is like a Mimi on a stick. Like the Mimi it's great for clitoral stimulation - but can also be used internally. Rather than thrusting this like the G4 she the shape contours to her vagina - settling in right on the g-spot. So although there may be some movement to keep things interesting - the movements are more like a rocking motion adding and removing pressure on the g-spot.
I agree with the others who say you should have both - they are really two different experiences.
