My wife's a few years younger than me (>8)--BUT--intellec tua lly and emotionally, it's like I'm the younger of the two of us. We both like it that way.

The oldest partner was 14 years my senior. Strangely enough he was about as melodramatic as someone that much younger than me. I couldn't handle being suspected and shouted at for things I never did. Needless to say it didn't last long.
