Can not tell you what it feels like, have not had the pleasure. But I can answer you last two questions.
For lube You want something thick, like hair gel. I like Maximus for all my butt play, but some have reactions to it (burning) so that is something to consider. You can also use silicone based lubes but they are not as thick so you may need to reapply. Oil based works too but in some women it can cause problems in the vagina. My thought is depending on the position you are in, it will drip down there. Safe bet, water based. What ever you use, use a bunch. When you think you have enough, add more and don't be afraid to add more as needed.

I believe what you are describing is 'pegging' - which I have not done. I have however been penetrated by a variety of toys. Some just sit there like anal plugs - but others are shaft like and involve thrusting similar to anal sex.
