so i used the rest of the dye on my hair and did some streaks - i loved the hot pink so much that i then went out and bought hairdye for my head, and now my head is hot pink too! it's too much fun. the boys don't mind it either.

One thing I've found after doing it several times - if you wait a day or so between bleaching the hair out and coloring it, the colors takes better and is much darker.

The first time I dyed my strip I did it just moments after bleaching it, and the color was so faint we could barely see it. This last time I bleached it one day and dyed it the next - the color was much more vibrant! I was using the green, so I'm not sure if it's true with the other colors or not, but it's true with the green.

Once I'm finished with the green I'll try out the purple and see if the same holds true. It is loads of fun, lasts a lot longer that I expected, and grows out pretty easily.

I've done it. It was fun once. I don't think I'd do it again maybe to surprise my boyfriend, he seemed to like it. I usually shave so its bit of a hassle.
It turned out great for me. The bleach worked great and the color worked as well. The only thing I remember bugging me was walking around pantless not being able to sit down. Also the color doesn't stain the tub like colored hair dye (manic panic) does.
