Ever Had Your Boobs Sized?

Contributor: popples popples
I had my breasts sized a few years at ago Victoria's Secret and they measured me smaller than I actually was. :/ But now I got a good idea what size I am and my bras fit fine.

I've never had them properly fitted, but I'm kinda scared to do so. One of my breasts seems to be at least one cup smaller than the other, so either which way I doubt I will ever have an almost perfectly fitting bra.

I've never been sized at a store, though I do it at home with a tape measure. If I feel like the bra I am wearing is getting too baggy or too tight, I go to some stores to try a few sizes on. I'm thinking I need to go get sized by a store, though, since I have been losing weight. I've already gone down to a 36B, though after measuring myself now, I think I am going to need 34C.

My wife has done it a few times at both V.S. and at a local lingerie shop. When she got on birth control a few years ago, her boobs started growing for the next few years, so she never had a clue to her size.

Yes, and I found out that I have a hard-to-find band size. Oi. :p

Well, I recently just did when I went to Victoria's Secret. Apparently I was pretty damn close. I thought I was a 36B, gal said I should be looking at a 38B. Not bad for buying bras on my own for years. So now if they're out of the 36s, I can get 38s, awesome.

Agreed! Nordstroms is my bra fitter of choice. I can get fitted there and get a bra basically anywhere and know the size is correct. I have to know the exact size and have the right bra in order for my 38D's to feel comfortable in one.

I haven't, although I suppose I should!

I haven't, but I want to sometime. I think I know what I am because I've done it myself, but I still find that it completely depends on the brand what I end up buying.

I probably should...unless HUGE counts as a size. I can never find bras that fit right.

That is actually quite common. After my boob job I though I was a 34C but I got measured and am a 32F. I look like a C tho. Before my boobs I couldnt fill an A/B but was never measured.

I measured myself and calculated it. And then tried a lot on.

I had a friend do it who had worked at a lingerie store, turns out I'm 32C instead of 26B...I just didn't think there was any way I was a C, but it turned out that's the right size!

Meh. I size them by trying on bras. If it fits, that is the size I am.

I got sized a few years ago in high school after my boobs had a sudden growth spurt. I was amazed to find I was a 36DD after being a 36B for so long. By the way, 36DD is a damned hard size to find, places that do carry DD sizes usually only have band sizes over 38. But I find it's always best to try things on first, damn inconsistent sizing!

I would recommend getting them sized, I don't like guessing games.

Yup. When my old bras weren't fitting so well anymore, I went in to get myself sized... only to find out that after years of being a 32DD I'm now a freaking 32F!!!

Small band-size + huge cup-size = really impossible bra to find!

They sized mine at Victoria Secrets one day. I'm a 34D.

I've been sized maybe 3 times, most recently maybe 6 months ago because my bras were no longer fitting right.

I thought I was an A cup but turned out to be a B cup when I got sized at Victoria's Secret. I've heard they size up so people are excited their boobs are bigger, but I don't care. I love my boobs either way.
