I've never heard anyone getting charged for it. I think of it more as a good service.

I have not been to a dept store and been sized. I just know what fits.

I have, but at Victoria's Secret, they always size me smaller than other places do.

I've never had them sized - I'm pretty sure I wear the right size bra!

I've never had them professionally sized but I do know how to measure myself to find the right size bra to wear. I've been mis-sized so many times, particularly at Victoria's Secret. They don't even carry my size but kept insisting I try something on that I knew wasn't going to fit to just try to make a sale.

I don't have time to read through this whole thread, so I'm not sure if this has been said before, but...Specific cup-size measurements are mostly irrelevant. Like, it's rare for you to be able to accurately say "I'm a C-cup". It all depends on the brand and the style of the bra, etc, etc. For example, the last time I got fitted, I was a 40D in one brand and a 42B in another, but a 38C in yet another, which is what I usually wear.

Also of note is the fact that the larger the band size, the larger the cup size gets, regardless of whether or not it's labeled A, B, C. So a bra that is a 42C is going to have cups that are incrementally bigger than a bra that is a 34C. Make sense? The numbers provide a good general guide, but...when it really comes down to it, all the brands are soooo different. Two people's C-sized breasts are probably wildly different sizes in reality.

I don't think I've been properly sized since I got my first "real" bra back in middle school or so. I've been having issues with double boob lately so I suspect I need to jump a cup size or something. I should probably go sometime this week, honestly.

My girlfriend just did it in Nordstrom about a week ago. She ended up with 2 new bras.

The "down a number, up a cup" thing was told to me by a VS salesperson when I got measured, oddly enough.

I've never been sized, although I probably should. My friends and I did a half-assed sizing and realized I've been wearing the wrong size. I am most definitely a D cup, not a C after all.

I've been measured a few times and up until the last time they've all been wrong. My bra band size is about three sizes smaller than the women at aerie and Victoria's secret told me.

I had my boobs sized a while ago for the first time and learned that I was wearing the wrong cup size. It was a nice surprise.

It seems like everytime I go into Victoria Secrets (every 4 months or so) they wanna re-measure me...like they have some fetish for it or something. Even when I tell them my size, they never believe me...then say I was right like it was a surprise.

Proud 32C btw.

I'm a 36b but can fit a 38a or a34c depends on the bra really. I don't really believe in the sizing thing. Not for someone's
