I have problems using tampons because I have a short vaginal canal (makes childbirth easier though so it's a good trade off) but my husband and life partner both love the look, and feel of my entire vaginal area so I guess I shouldn't have any complaints.

I think it's really important to promote genital acceptance. I never really learned to appreciate my entire area until I started working in a nude strip club. Once you see the full variety of shapes, sizes and colors out there and see the way that they are appreciated by all sorts of people.
While it's possible to find a good variety of looks in porn very often they promote one very tucked in look and that can cause people to become really self conscious of themselves.
I do know several women who've undergone labiaplasty and while I understand it for medical reasons it seems a drastic step cosmetically.

The only concern I have is (and I had to ask my OB what it was which was so embarrassing) some extra vaginal tissue externally because it healed a bit improperly after having one of my kiddos. A small price to pay for my kids, sure. It looks almost like some really small hemorrhoids. It doesn't bother me physically and my OB said it was fairly common and they usually don't recommend doing anything unless it really bothered me - then they snip and stitch (ouch). I don't like hubby looking down there for that reason. And I have had enough trauma down there after 6 kids that I really don't care for more - unless hubby ever says anything to make me feel like it bothers him.
