Electrostimulation: A proactive discussion.

Well I have four electrostimulation kits.

I have one for work (TENS)

A 9v low voltage pocket pad set that is great for travel play.

A 24v low voltage distribution set with a pink wand and sive attachment spikes plus a dozen probes, straps and twin rods.

And I have a 240V mains voltage electrosex set with adjustable twin rods and a body shock probe. less

Well thats the thing. It all depends on what I want to do.

Using a TENS I can manipulate almost any muscle in the body.



Using twin electrostimulation electrodes needles (twin stix) I can target singular muscles to induce pain or pleasure. A bit of trial and error is needed. And real skill is required when doing this with higher voltages and currents.





Then we reach the EXTREME of electrosex. Anything up to mains current.

Ive had little experience with the far spectrum where actual electrocution and not just electrostimulation occurs for pleasure.

I've been wanting to try electro-stimulation for some time, but I don't want to make a huge investment for me to try it once and put it in the bottom of the toy box. I have had the Chiropractor and the Acupuncturist use medical grade equipment for my back and hips and found the sensation slightly annoying as the muscles "jump". However, I'm wondering if I would find it pleasurable in erogenous zones. Any advice on whether or not I should try for one of these cheap units? Does anyone use them on their clit? Or is that just too much? Is the pleasurable aspect of using this type of stimulation always going to be accompanied with pain? less

You will have to figure out which attachment would serve your purposes.
I would suggest the e stim wand. There is also one with a probe and pad to put on the clit or elsewhere.

Or you can get a set of pads and a probe/instrument and use both simultaneously.
The control unit has 2 ports so one can use 2 attachments at the same time.

I don't think these give one pain. Of course every person is different. Just tickle or tingles or contractions based on the power setting. The control unit has power and multiple settings.

Not to scare. But putting a soft pad directly on a nerve cluster can be painful.

I have seen the "pain-free" electrostimulation toys offered and if you want to prove that they will not hurt, take the probe and stick it on the corner of your eye, back of your throat or behind your ear.

I encountered a medical version of a TENS unit (not sure if the same brand or whatever), since a person in the family is a medical professional. So TENS units are actually pretty familiar to me, and I don't have any specifically just for sex association with them.

I forget the name of it, but once at a electro-play talk, the demonstrator brought out a homemade device where he turned a crank in a box and t collected a charge. People stood in a circle all holding hands, one person holding a probe connected to it, and when you wanted to disseminate the charge from building up among you ,you'd complete the circuit by having the last person hold the other person's hand. Shit felt like the days of Edison.

Hi there so I have a violet wand and I have a special attachment so that the point is higher voltage. I use this when I have someone bound as they resist to much free. I have used it on nipples, and male and Female parts. I quickly touch and it zaps them. Fun for torture or beginning of deeper electro play with the tens. I have found that I can run it though side ways over arms and legs and it spreads the current so that its much ligharmband almost tickles.

Based on OH&W reviews I have acquired the basic EF e-stim toys. I've been using the small Tingle probe for anal stimulation - basically effort free Kegels.

I just decided to up my game and ordered the e-stim wand and probe. I don't expect to be using any of these during sex with my partner in the near future - just looking for the Kegel benefits.

We have both used TENs/EMS units with various electrodes for pelvic floor exercises. I'm convinced it had a big part in my overcoming my intermittent ED. Neither of us find the sensations particularly erotic but neither are they unpleasant. Perhaps with a unit putting out patterns designed to be erotic rather than therapeutic it would be different. less

Can you describe a little more about the products that you use? I've been trying to use Eden's estim probes and find their performance very uneven.

Do you use external pads - if so where do you attach them. If you use internal probes - what type and brands? Thanks less

I came to the forum for how-to e-stim pls. Short background, I am a complete noob and just want to try it all out. I was completely dissatisfied with the e-stim items I bought here, AES010 and AES031, but from the reviews and what I've read about e-stim, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what..

I have the EF basic controller with pads and a silicone probe. The pads and probe stimulate my hands and fingers...gives me quite an intense, tingling sensation even on the lowest power, much more becomes intolerably uncomfortable...perfec t. If I place the pads on my arm or leg, in very specific spots, they will stimulate my muscles to contract. But if not placed exactly, nothing will be felt at all or sometimes an intense, burning sensation is felt at the skin surface where the pad touches which concerns me..

The probe only works when held in my hand. When inserted, fully or partially, nothing is felt. Sometimes when inserted and on max power, only a slight pinching sensation can be felt at the tip of the probe. I just cannot feel this thing anywhere unless if I even barely touch it with the tip of my finger or hold it in hand...then it gives an intense tingling sensation even at the lowest power...pretty frustrating trying to use it.

So, that was my experience giving it a go. Can anyone help? Is this typical or am I doing something wrong? Are e-stim toys finicky like this, they don't always stimulate? Why would they work on my hands but none of my erogenous or other sensitive areas? Am I missing something or is the stim in e-stim always hit-or-miss? How do you use e-stim and what does it feel like? ..or what should it feel like? less

Have the EF control box and a couple electrodes; have some more on the way, including a second box. Hevan't been able to bring myself to orgasm from electricity alone yet, but the E-stim makes a difference in quality; manual alone, I'm back for more tomorrow, but with the E-Stim, sometimes I'm satisfied for a full week and walking a little weird the next day.

Any tips for building tolerance, other than repeated exposure? Any more than 25-30% power, and I'm getting more pain than pleasure; not fun. less
