Goodness! I really didn't know much about anal douches until reading this. Heck, I didn't even knw people went through THAT much trouble (didn't know anal douches even existed) until recently! My partner and I have never, ever done anything anal in our lives and we wouldn't. I definitely wouldn't do it after reading this! Gosh, I couldn't imagine dealing with all that poop and douches and yuckies just to have something in my rear! I have never used enemas, suppositories, etc. I just can't stomach the idea of having someone's poop on my hands or my TOYS! AW hell no! I can handle the kid's poop and that's it! I don't play in shi*. I also can't get over the feeling that it has to be some sort of unhealthy in some way?

Also I wanted to add that wiping back to front, despite what you've experienced IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS! It's transferring everything from your rear to your vagina... EW! It can cause a lot of nasty infections. A friend of mine has a little girl who she left her grandmother to care for when the child was first born and recently she kept her for a couple weeks and didn't understand that wiping the child front to back nor back t front was bad and the little girl had a rough case f diarrhea at the time and ended up in the hospital with E.coli in her unrinary tract! EW! I wouldn't understand why a woman would ever risk that. You may have done it your whole life, but that does not mean you're unable to get the infections.

I had been thinking about getting some anal toys, but after reading this thread I'm totally put off again. Sure when I was younger I had anal sex and even came a few times from it. There was no poop involved. Now that I'm older my digestion isn't what it used to be. Ugh! Maybe that some things staying the way they are is in order for me. Exit only!

Like many have said, a lot of people never have to bother with anal douches etc. My Man and I have anal sex regularly, and we have never seen any...deposits nor have I ever douched or had any problems with "poop" as you put it. In many people a healthy rectum is completely empty most of the time. If you know what you are doing, you know when anal sex is going to work at that time. If you've never done it, you can't really judge.

Everybody's body is different, and people change from day to day. For most people, (not all) anal sex can be indulged in quite healthily, and most people I know rarely if ever run into anything in the outer rectum that they wouldn't want to.

It isn't "unhealthy" if one knows what one is doing. As in all things, knowledge and care are required.

If it isn't your thing, it isn't your thing. When I was in my 20s, I was virulently against anal sex. I had NO idea what I was missing. I changed my mind, and it's a lovely way to make love to someone. If you like it, which not everyone does.

A baby being wiped improperly has NOTHING to do with an adult preparing for or having an anal sexual play experience. You can't compare the two.

Tolerance is the order of the day, I think. SEX is "risky" if you think about it. If anal isn't for you, and you refuse to even consider it, that's your choice. But, please don't disrespect other people's enjoyment of things you know nothing about and can't even imagine.

I have had anal sex with at least 25 women and not one time did they prepare with an enema. Have there been messes? Yes! But I was mentally prepared for that and made no big deal about it, just simple cleaned up. I'm a big boy and understand the chance I'm taking. But most experiences have had no mess at all.
