I love literotica and the whole Kristen story collections. They both have a good amount of varied stories, so whatever mood you feel, you will find a story for just about anything. I prefer the written word to video porn simply because I find the written word more of a build up. But very few authors really get me worked up as I like the details and I need to feel for the characters.
So I usually write it as I like details. Sometimes I succeed in finishing a story before I ge carried away and sometimes I don't!
