I use one for sex and sometimes to sleep (only if there's a lot of light in the room).

Don't own one, but a sleep mask/blindfold would help when my neighbor's pushing the bass in his car stereo as far as it'll go in the middle of the night. Blocking out my vision by wrapping a towel around my eyes when he does that helps me ignore the noise.

I've never use a sleep mask for sleeping. Only as a blindfold during sex. I guess, using a sleep mask is so strongly associated with sexual pleasure for me, that I just couldn't sleep with it

Yeah, no problems falling asleep but if I worked at night and slept during the day I might use one. Fun during sex, however.

I love using a blindfold during our sex play. At first my wife was a bit reluctant - but recently she's embraced the anonymity that it gives her to experiment.

She has become both more assertive and more aggressive - which I prefer

As for sleeping - no need.
