I love it on the floor, honestly. But maybe with some pillows or blankets so it's not quite so hard. I just love being thrown down and taken, like we couldn't even make it to the bed.

I think we're the last couple in the country with a water bed.

Sometimes I want a regular bed. My husband wants to (when this mattress leaks) just get a new water bed mattress online. I'm torn, as I like our waterbed, but, it looks like the scenery of an old porn movie (we have an old, heavy, dark headboard, with lights and shelves and cubbies and even a mirror!) and I'm sick of having to try to fit baggy King Size sheet on our Queen water bed. (Water bed sizes are different than regular bed sizes, so Queen Size sheets don't fit, and what waterbed sheets you can find online are UGLY and very expensive.)

But, we've had fun on our waterbed for many years. It's good for sex and we do enjoy it. We've only had to replace the mattress twice in many years and it is comfortable. But, with my fibromyalgia, it's getting harder and harder for me to get out of the bed.
