Dirty minds review

Fun game for entertainment purposes, keeps you laughing and good for parties. Would recommend for get-togethers with other adults. It needs to have better directions on how to play the game exactly and they need to add more clues so you won't run out quite so fast. All in all a great game for fun!

worth reading, but not useful review
My partner and I had seen this game around and we were very curious about it, we were not sure of the premise of the game and how you played it. We were curious if it had that opportunity for arousal so that once you played it you just couldn't get enough of it. If it was a game that had you so intrigued with each other and what you could do to each other that you wanted to play it over and over again. So again we went into this totally blind to what it contained.

Once we got the game we learned that it was a hilarious and erotic description of clean objects; we were way off on our assumption. We read a couple of the clues to each other and really had a laugh. So we decided in order to get the feel for the game we needed to invite some of our "open-minded" friends over to try it out. Dirty Minds|Adult game by TDC Games Inc was the life of the party. We all had so much fun reading the "dirty" clues to each other and guessing if we were right. Some of us really did have dirty minds while the others caught on fast to what they really were trying to define.

Overall the clues were great, the game itself was a bit puzzling. The directions are not exactly clear on how you play the game. You are supposed to form the word Dirty with cards that you draw off a pile but they have the word hyphenated, D-I-R-T-Y. There are hyphens in the stack of cards you draw from, so you assume that is part of the spelling, but then you read on and find out they are "junk" cards and to just discard them they don't do anything for you. My other concern is they only give you 4 books with clues in it, so once you run out of clues where exactly do you go from there? Again the rules and directions were a bit questionable, and because we had a hard time understanding them we breezed right through the game and it didn't last long.

The game was fun and we all enjoyed it. I would recommend it for parties of small or large groups, we plan on playing it again in the future with friends. Hopefully we understand the directions a bit better the next time to make the game last a little longer. The clues were funny so even if you discarded the board game and just read each other the clues to guess it more than likely would be just as fun. We all did have some great laughs and could embellish on the answer behind the dirty clues.
Follow-up commentary
We have played this game again and again with different friends and we followed the rules finally and we had a great time. It doesn't take much time to "win" the game but it was still fun. I still have the same complaint because you go through it so quickly I can see how you can run out of clues easily. Not so much of a big deal if you play with different people all the time but that means the people that keep playing it over and over again will win more quickly because they know all the answers. It is a very funny game and it does make you think, it also proved to me that my mind is in the "gutter" more than I thought!

Huh, the one I've seen didn't have a gameboard. It seems unecessary. A pretty fun game, though.

Up to how many people can play at once?

You can have as many people play as you would like. If you have more than 4 players though you will have to divide into teams as they only provide 4 books to read clues from, or if you have 4 players and want you can use 2 of the books and have teams of 2.
