The Wheels of Desire has so many fun applications! Its a drinking game, a romantic game, a kinky game, and (if you have kinky friends) a party game. There is even a way to make the game completely your own with a blank wheel, ready for you to jot down all of your devious ideas. There is something for just about everyone included in the 7 different pre-printed games, and if you can't find something there that you like you can put fill in your pleasure on the blank side of one of the discs. Two men playing by themselves would not be able to make use of some of the actions on the game wheels because there are many that are specifically female actions, but with a little creativity, they could work around it. The only scenario that I can see this game being useless in, is if you are by yourself, and if that's the case, maybe a nice game of solitaire would serve you better.

The Wheels of Desire is very simple to play. Choose a game wheel that fits your situation, line up the small holes on the sides of the wheel with the little pegs on the sides of the spinner (after adding two AA batteries)press the button and wait for your game action to be pointed to. There are four double-sided, color coded, wheels that include the following games:

This game is a very flexible game, you can bend the rules to suit your tastes. Game time can be as short or as drawn out as your schedule allows, and clean up is quick and easy. There aren't really any in depth instructions, probably because this game isn't complicated, but the whole set-up is pretty self explanatory.

Well, one thing is for sure, Wheels of desire will not withstand a nuclear fallout, so if you are planning on saving it away for the zombie apocalypse you may end up playing Dirty Scrabble. I wouldn't even go so far as to say that this game would stand up to a thunderstorm. The card stock wheels are laminated, so if you get a little bit of fluid on them and remove it quickly, they should be fine. The wheel spinner seems flimsy to me, and could easily be crushed if accidentally stepped on or stored under something slightly heavy. If you are careful, and store the wheels and spinner in a small, sturdy box then this game should last a while. It should at least last as long as the first set of batteries you use. All that being said, the game as a whole is small, the pieces are easy to keep up with, and the fact that it is light weight would make it easy to travel with(provided you could keep it from being smashed).

Some things that we didn't like about Wheels of Desire: with us the wheel kept stopping in a few of the same spots, which is annoying and boring, so you have to keep spinning or keep repeating what you've already been doing. A lot of the actions on the wheels were focused on being done to a female, so if a male and female partner are playing, the female might feel like she's not getting to play on her turn. It's not always a bad thing, but I'm sure most of the males would like having things done to them as well.

The game time, set up, and clean up was quick and easy, a plus since we have a young child. Also, if our child finds this game (she can't read yet) she won't know what it's for and then we don't have to worry about everyone (from the cashier at the grocery store to the mailman to our parents) knowing that "mommy and daddy have a sex game".

Just as a head's up, if you need a silent game, then you may want to skip this one. The motor in the toy gets louder depending on how long you hold down the button that spins the wheels. If you hold it down longer than about ten seconds the noise escalates to something that can be heard through a closed door. If, however, you only hold the button down a couple of seconds the game doesn't get loud at all.
