Black ice hardcore playing cards - adult game by Evolved Novelties - review by Miss Lissy

Tired of looking at the same old Kings and Queens when you play cards? Whatever your game of choice is, if you want to spice things up, try the Black Ice Hardcore deck. They are marked the same as a regular deck of cards and, as such, can be applied to any game you can think of involving cards.

The glossy cards are clearly illustrated with porn stars doing, well, what porn stars do, though none of the women are named. In my experience, they are made of good quality card stock, not flimsy or easily torn like others I've seen. They feel about the same thickness as my casino quality deck, and the Black Ice cards, if anything, shuffle a little easier. This is probably because of the glossy finish which makes the images so crisp. The back of the cards feature a black and purple design, with the words "Black Ice" and some sort of disclaimer on the bottom. I understand that it's probably necessary, but the white lettering is a little obvious. Be warned that the box is not the sturdiest, but it's to be expected when you take out and put away the cards as many times as most people do. They are the same size as a normal deck.

The cards have several different images instead of rotating through one or two like I've seen with some. All of the lovely ladies featured are provocatively posed, to say the least. Most of them appear to be Latina or black, and I don't recognize any of them (not that I consider myself a pornography connoisseur). Poses range from deep throating to intercourse with a definite focus on well-rounded derrieres and "facials". I would completely agree with the "hardcore" aspect of the product title. The box the cards come in is clearly marked with two explicit pictures, so they are probably not something you'd want to leave around on your coffee table. However, they are definitely a good way to make Guys Night more fun! I played poker with my friends using this deck and, once they'd gotten over giggling at the idea of porn on playing cards, we had a blast. The first use that comes to mind is a gag gift, I might use them every once in awhile, but for regular card games i think I'll most likely stick with my normal deck.
