Gummy Peckers from Pipedream are fashioned after Gummy Bears candy. A great gag gift for birthdays, bridal showers, or just for kicks. When I first saw these, I decided that this was a must try. I am a candy connoisseur to start with and when you start sugar coating my favorite part of a mans anatomy then we are talking business!
They look quite different from the picture that is posted on the products page. The ones I received have a heavy sugary coating on them and the ones pictured you really can't see it. Not that having the sugar coat is a bad thing just be aware that there is plenty of sugar in these. 15 grams for every 5 you eat, as well as 22 grams of carbohydrates for a serving of 5. If you are anything like me and plan on sitting around eating the box, you may want to take this into consideration.
A serving is 5 of them and there were 26 in my box. If you like the sugar coated gummy orange slices, you will love these. They have three flavors in every box. Orange, Lemon and Lime. They taste just like what they claim to be flavored as, so there are no surprise tastes. I sat watching a lifetime movie and ate the whole box. Each edible pecker is 1 1/2" long and 3/4" at the balls. Nice bite-sized yummy goodness.
I can definately see myself buying more of these for gifts and party favors. Yes, most of my friends are weird enough to truly enjoy them.
They come packaged in a scare cardboard box that says Gummy Peckers in huge letters across the front with a window to see them. It contains 5.3 ounces of fruit flavored peckers. On the back of the box it lists Nutritional Facts and Ingredients.
Ingredients include: Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Modified Corn Starch, Citric Acid, Artificial Flavors, Gelatin, Carnauba Wax, and Artificial Colors (Including Blue 1, Red 40, and Yellow 5 & 6)
Not very healthy but a blast to eat.
