Ceramic bubbles - butt plug by Duncan Charles Designs - review by YouPutThatWhere?

This plug is great for long term wear! I did wear a thong with it to help with retention, and never had any issues. The handle/base has never made me worry about losing it. It's plenty long enough to keep it outside, and only 7/8" wide, which is nice and thin. So, it's also very comfortable for extended wear, without the pinching issues that some glass plugs have.

The ceramic material is AWESOME! I love glass and metal, and this is an inexpensive alternative. Technically speaking, the glaze on the ceramic material is very much like glass after it's been fired in the kiln. You get all the benefits without the cost. I think it's a great toy for someone looking to get into glass anal toys, without spending too much on something else that may or may not perform to expectations. I only wish they made these with larger or graduated bubbles.

The material is VERY durable. I accidentally dropped it in the shower while cleaning it. The floor of the shower is fiberglass (which helped), but it dropped at least 3 feet with NO damage. I know ceramics really well, so I used my "collectors eye" to check, recheck, and recheck it again. If it had been glass, who knows. If it were one of my steel plugs, it could have put a hole in the shower floor, because it fell so hard.

I do love the design, but it's not perfect. I do think the base is perfect for this material. It fits sort of like a T-handle, except it's flatter and a little wider. The width of the base is the same as the diameter of the shaft, making it quite comfortable. The bluntness of the tip is not an issue with good lube. The "bubbles" have a wonderful effect during insertion. One can't help being tempted to stroke a little before the final push. I think the length is perfect, although another 1/4-1/2 inch couldn't hurt. The shaft diameter, at 7/8", is great for beginners looking to stretch to the next level. The more advanced user may like its discretion and comfort for extended wear. The base thickness, or thinness, makes sitting on even the hardest surface pleasurable and not "pokey."

If I could change one thing, it would be the diameter of one or two of the bubbles. I haven't had any retention issues, but a larger lower bubble (at least) would eliminate those concerns entirely. Some intercourse positions I haven't tried because of this. In a perfect world, I'd graduate the bubbles to 1 1/4 top, 1 1/2 middle, and 1 3/4 bottom.

I think the best thing about this toy is its performance to price ratio. One gets the hygienic/cleaning qualities of glass for less. It massages the prostate very well. It is capable of providing p-spot orgasms with the most subtle movements. It even performs well in public!

It's sooo easy to care for this product. Once other matter has been sprayed off, soap and water works great. It can be easily sterilized and is dishwasher safe. It is compatible with any lube. But since it is non-porous, a thicker lube is recommended for ease of use. It stores in a nice little pouch that, while not padded, does protect it.

I have tried an Aneros product, some NJoy, and various non-premium products before to find my P-Spot. While those did feel great, it wasn't until I tried this that I reached orgasm. I put this plug in one evening to sleep in later that night. I was an anal beginner, and I wanted to loosen-up some to try a much larger plug the next day. After a few hours I went to bed.
