The Black Anal T by California Exotic Novelties is a a vibrator meant for anal penetration. It is designed with both men and women in mind, with a gentle bend to the shaft meant for stimulation of the prostate. This bend could also be used for G-spot stimulation in women if used vaginally. For those who are highly sensitive, it could also provide fair clitoral stimulation.

This toy is made of plastic, which rates an 8 on the Eden Safety Scale. It is smooth and untextured, though a seam running around the toy vertically creates a small indent in the plastic, which cannot be felt during use. This toy is safe for use with water, oil, and silicone based lubricants. It has no taste or smell.

The T itself is a round-tipped cylinder in shape, set at an angle against a rounded bulb that acts as a sort of anal plug. At the bottom of this bulb is a cross-section that gives the toy its T shape and makes the toy anal safe. The tips of this cross-section are rather pointed. The dimensions of this toy are 5" long, 3" of which is insertable, with a circumferenace of 3 1/4" and a diameter of 1". The cord is permanently attached to the base of the toy and is only about 2 feet long. The cord feels rather fragile. The oposite end of the cord features a standard jack, which plugs into the control pack. The control pack is a lightweight plastic rectangle with rounded, smooth edges and is ribbed over the palm section. The cord plugs into the top. Two AA batteries fit into the battery compartment, which features a simple slide-on lid. Though the packaging says waterproof, I would not advise submerging, or even splashing, the control pack. The vibrator itself seems perfectly waterproof, including where the cord meets the toy. A simple slider button runs the toy through 4 speeds marked in white writing: low, medium, high, and super. A red light at the top left of the control pack lights up when the toy is on.

The Black Anal T has one function, vibrating, with four speeds: low, medium, high, and super. These vibrations are rumbly and vary from barely felt to what I consider to be medium intensity. Not mind-blowing, but still stimulating. These speeds are cycled through by pressing the slider upward for each of the higher settings, or down for lower settings. Sliding the button all the way down will shut off the toy. The lowest setting on my product produces a odd knocking sound while it vibrates, which disappears on higher settings. The sound of the vibrations is generally about 2 Bees, sometimes 3 Bees. I don't know if this is related to battery life or something to do with the product itself.

Care is pretty straightforward. Simply clean with mild antibacterial soap or toy cleaner and water. Plastic is pretty much non-porous, but please use a condom if sharing this toy. Store the toy somewhere out of direct sunlight to prevent photodegradation and keep away from extreme heat to prevent melting. Do not boil this toy or place it in a dishwasher. Do be careful not to get the inside of the battery pack wet. Also keep in mind that you should take care with the cord, to prevent tangling it or breaking it.

The Black Anal T came in a clamshell packaging that left nothing to the imagination. The cardboard insert features a black and white photo of a pretty woman in lacy underwear. The front displays the functions of the toy and that it is 100% waterproof. The same is listed on the back, featuring the same picture, along with a picture of the toy. It tells what kind of batteries to use, how many speeds it has, and gives the standard vibrator warnings.

I found this toy quite pleasant. It was by no means earth-shaking, but in combination with other toys, it really adds a nice element to play time. A little lube is necessary, since the plastic does drag just a little bit. My product does have that bad knocking sound on the lowest setting. Inserted it is practically silent. I'll likely look into a more powerful anal toy in the future, but I was glad to add this one to my toy collection.
