The control is ribbed for easier holding and has 4 speed settings. You change the settings by sliding a piece from low to super, then back down through all of the settings to off again. The settings are low, medium, high, and super. We are vibration lovers so we keep all of our toys on the highest settings available and it really did the job on super.

If you have to use a lot of lube and try to control this toy with it on your hands, you may have some difficulty due to slippage.

This toy is not very loud, but you MAY be able to hear it through a door as long as there is no other noise in the house. It is also waterproof so while using it in the shower, you wouldn't have to worry about anyone hearing it. We didn't use it in the shower so I'm not 100% sure exactly HOW waterproof it is.

It is easy to store; we keep ours in a zip lock bag just like all of our other toys, but it could easily be left in your drawer or on your night stand.
