All About the Girth

Although the body-safe silicone material makes this a fine choice for vaginal insertion, this is primarily an anal toy. The T-shaped base of the plug guarantees it's not going anywhere once in place, and the emphasis on girth rather than length makes for a deceptively advanced anal experience.

The Spade is made of smooth, mostly firm black silicone. Because of this, ample water-based lube should be on hand at all times. The firmness of the material does aid in insertion but, unlubricated, the friction of silicone on the skin is higher than that of a material like glass.

With 3" of insertable length and 1.75" of diameter, this plug lacks in length, but it makes up for in girth, and then some. The asymmetrical T-shaped base provides stability when gripping and when wearing. Although the toy is small and compact enough for travel, I'd say its form pretty overtly betrays its purpose.

This is a decidedly advanced toy. Not the most advanced on the market, but somewhere solidly in the middle between intermediate and expert, as the final inch or so, can be quite challenging to get in, even for somewhat experienced users.

I severely underestimated this plug. For what it is, it certainly does a fine job, but just be sure you're well lubed and prepared for the challenge.

Because this toy is 100% silicone, it's very simple to clean and care for it. It can be sanitized by boiling, with a diluted bleach solution, or with any other cleaning products you normally use for your silicone items. Once it's been cleaned and dried, it can be stored pretty much wherever, although I'd recommend you store it separately as storing several toys together can sometimes cause damage.

The plug came packaged in a simple, clear plastic bag, which was shipped in a small square box with a couple of inflatable air bags, which resulted in quite a lot of jostling. While I'm all in favor of reducing packaging waste, I feel like this wasn't the most discreet way to ship this product, as you might be able to discern the general size and material of the plug just from shaking the box around a little.
