I can't speak for vaginal play because I lack the required equipment, but these beads are great for anal play. As with any anal toys these balls are best used with plenty of latex safe lube such as water and silicone. These beads aren't too big sitting at a 1.25 inch diameter but they are rather hard so a little warm up play is probably warranted.

I don't know what the inner makeup of the balls is, but they are connected by a nylon sting and dipped in latex giving the toy a mild rubber smell. Each ball has a loose smaller hard ball inside of it that creates an interesting sensation while rattling around during use. Unlike cheaper anal beads, there are no knots holding the balls in place on the string. The balls are very firm and have seemingly no give whatsoever and because of the latex have a slight grip. And, the nylon sting ends in a nicely sized loop for easy handling.

This toy is made up of five 1.25 inch diameter balls separated at a distance of 1 inch along a nylon string, all of which has been dipped in latex to give the toy a seamless finish. I really like the fact that the latex coating covers both the balls and the sting because it gives a solid outer surface, which is much better than an exposed string that would likely become a bacteria trap. The only part of the toy, which is not covered in seamless latex, is 1.25 inches of the nylon string, which is fine because this part of the toy should never be inserted.

I'd say this toy would be suitable for beginners with minimal warm up such as finger play. But this toy is by no means for beginners only; I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences with this toy.

I thoroughly liked the fact that the insertable part of this toy is covered in a seamless coating of latex; I've seen many anal beads that were simply plastic balls held in place by knots on a nylon string. I liked the size, which is smaller than many of my other toys, because it allowed me to play a little more vigorously than I would with a larger toy. I found that these toys are really great for warming up for further play.

Being latex, these aren't the most sanitary beads available. Though a condom can be used over these toys, I found that it made them awkward to use. That being said, if you do plan on sharing this toy with anyone else please use a condom! Without the use of a condom this toy is strictly a one-person toy. I use hot water and anti-bacterial hand soap to clean my less-hygienic toys. These toys shouldn't be stored in any extreme conditions to prevent cracking in the latex.
