Icicles No. 37 by Pipedream is a short, nubbed glass dildo. It has a clear round ring handle like those on pacifiers. The body of No. 37 has a slimmer shaft and bulbous head made out of black, hand blown glass.

No. 37 can be used both anally and vaginally. The base is flared to prevent the toy from becoming lost inside your body. The nubbed shaft and shorter length make this toy great for warm up for vaginal play, as it works like a "juicer". The toy can be taken anywhere you like, really, whether it's the bathtub, shower, bed, or even the couch. I like that the glass is safe to use with silicone based lubricants, which keep the surface slippery even in the bath or shower.

Since this is made of hard glass, you'll want to avoid hard thrusting if used vaginally. The glass may bruise you internally. However, glass is a safe material to share with a partner, as it is non-porous. Simply wash it with some soap and warm water before handing it over to a partner.

Glass may or may not be a good choice for a beginner, depending on what they are looking for in a toy. This is one of the best materials a toy can be made out of. I think the shape and size will work well for most users. This is not a large toy. It's a good start for those looking to try glass toys. It's also a good choice for those looking to begin using glass toys anally. It's not intimidating in any way. Size queens will not care for the short length and smaller circumference of No. 37, however. No. 37 is also a good choice for a warm up toy due to its size.

For me, the size is great. I haven't used a glass toy before and find the length easy to work with. The circumference is slim enough that I do not experience pain during insertion.

I would not consider this a discreet looking toy. The design makes it very obvious it is used for sexual purposes. I don't think I would consider it for travel, since it is glass and it may break if baggage is carelessly thrown around.

As I said before, Icicles No. 37 can be used both anally and vaginally. I like that I can go from using it vaginally to using it anally on my partner. The glass ring at the base makes it easy to thrust and remove the piece.

If desired, No. 37 can be thrown in the fridge or put under hot or cold water in order to alter the temperature of the glass for temperature play. When sitting at room temperature, the glass already feels a bit cool.

You'll want something with some padding to it in order to keep No. 37 safe from any damage should it be dropped or something fall on it. If you'd prefer not to go this route, any storage container will do just fine. Glass toys are safe to be stored with any kind of toy or adult product.

No. 37 comes packaged in a 8 x 4 x 2 1/2 inch box. The box is nicely designed. No. 37 is referred to as a hand blown glass massager, rather than a dildo or anal plug. All of the sides of the packaging display pictures of the toy. The front of the packaging is white, while the remaining sides are all black. Pulling on a piece of ribbon on the front of the box, you'll open up the front to a cut out where the actual toy can be viewed. The back of the packaging gives some basic information on the toy such as material, cleaning instructions, and how to warm/cool the glass. It does not go into detail on how No. 37 is used. I noticed there are a few misspellings on the packaging. "Massager" is spelled "massger" a few times. Other than that, I noticed no misspellings. No. 37 is made in China.

I'm on the fence as to whether or not consider No. 37's packaging discreet. On one hand, it makes absolutely no mention of it being a sex toy; however, the packaging clearly shows what's inside.

I find the packaging ideal for storage. No. 37 is nestled inside a thick piece of foam that keeps it from breaking if dropped. If you don't have a padded toy pouch to store the toy in, the box will keep it pretty safe.

This is my first glass toy. I was a bit wary at first because of the nubbed shaft; however, I got over that when I saw the actual length of No. 37. It's small enough that my partner and I have no trouble inserting it. The smooth feel of the glass makes it easier to insert.
