Beginner's anal toy.

This vibrating butt plug is perfect for beginners. The Doc Johnson Rump Shaker states that it will put the buzz in your butt and it certainly will. The vibrations are controlled by a separate remote that connects to the plug with a cord. The vibes are gentle, but strong enough to stimulate. It can be used for masturbation or for couples play. It does tend to slip out easily once it's lubed up so more advanced users might be disappointed by the size of it. It's easy to slide it in slowly and only as far as you would like. The toy has a flared base so there is no danger of losing it inside you.

This vibe is made from a phthalate-free rubber that is firm on the outside but has a soft inner core. This gives the toy some flexibility when easing it in, but it does not bend too much. The material that this is made with is porous so I highly recommend using condoms with it. The butt vibe has a smooth texture and no ridges which makes it pleasant for anal beginners like myself. It had a pretty strong plastic smell when I opened the package, but after cleaning it with toy cleaner it was not so bad.

As you can see from the above photo this toy fits into my hand. The insertable length of the toy is 4 inches with a circumference of 3 inches. It has a flared base, with a cord coming out of it as shown in the photo below:




The cord connects to the battery pack, and allows a partner to use this on you easily. As with any anal toy is should be heavily lubricated, but that also caused this one to easily slip out. The size was good for me as a beginner; I did not feel intimidated by it and did not really experience any discomfort getting it inserted.

The toy is easy to hide, but the rubber picks up dog hairs very easily. It should be stored in a toy box or somewhere far away from pet hair. It would be suitable for travel as you can disconnect the battery pack and there is no risk of it vibrating.

Once you put the batteries in and flip it over, you can access the dial. The control is easy to use and is a moves in a circle in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The vibrations are not very strong and there was not a noticeable difference between the lower vibrations and the higher ones. They all felt the same and I wish that they were a little stronger. The vibrations are felt throughout the entire toy. The toy is not very noisy and would not be heard through a door.

The toy is not waterproof and you need to make sure you keep the cord dry when cleaning this toy.

Since this toy is rubber it can be used with silicone or water based lubes. It is easy to care for and can be washed with soap and water, however it is porous. Using a condom is your best bet to keep it clean. I keep mine in a box with my other toys to help keep it away from dog hair.

It would not make a good storage box. I was disappointed that it did not have more user instructions in the package. This toy seems to be marketed at those who are beginning to experiment with anal play. I feel like beginners could use more instructions with anal play. The packaging does not tell what type of lube to use, or say that the toy is not waterproof. It does say not to attempt to warm the toy in the microwave or oven. More information about anal play can be looked up on the internet, but I think it would be nice if the manufacturer included more instructions.

I felt like this was a good beginner toy and I had some very pleasant experiences with it. I would highly recommend it to others who are new to anal play.
