The super big end - butt plug by Doc Johnson - review by Angelica

The Super Big End is designed for anal use and is not really suitable for thrusting action. It is designed to wear as a plug exclusively. It can be used in and out of water, but since copious amounts of water-based lube are required, I wouldn't recommend it as water-based lube dissolves in water.

Because the toy is made from silicone it can be sterilized and used vaginally and anally. Currently, I can fit the entirety of this toy in vaginally but not anally. It rests behind my pubic bone and stays in place well despite the size.

The size of this toy makes it an advanced users toy. I consider myself intermediate; definitely not a beginner to anal play, but this toy is too much for me at this moment. Warm up was very much helpful in making what I can experience of this toy more comfortable.

The plug is made from silicone and is solid throughout with no changes in density. It is smooth to touch with no harsh seams with no added texture. There is not much drag to the surface and does not seem to be a lint magnet. The silicone material is great for people sensitive to other materials or who want a toy to last. This plug is a good return on safety for price.

The toy had a slight plastic smell, I assume from the packaging, which quickly dissipated after the first wash. Another prop to silicone is that it does not hold odors like cheaper materials do.

The plug has surprisingly little give to it and is very firm, I mean, you can squeeze it but there is no dramatic give. Other butt plugs I have owned of this shape (although made from less than stellar materials) were dual density or really squishy, almost to the point of not holding their shape when I tried to insert them. This toy however, doesn’t budge. The neck doesn’t bend under pressure and is pretty ideal for sitting on.

The Super Big End is a classically shaped butt plug and is quite large in size. I would compare it to a pop can. It really is supersized. As I mentioned before, the size of this toy makes it for advanced users. The neck is proportional to the bulbous part of the toy that keeps it from bending during insertion.

The exact dimensions of this toy are a circumference of 7.5" (diameter of 2.25") at the widest point and a insertable length of 5". The neck has a diameter of 1.25". To compare it to my small but chubby fingers the tip is slightly larger than my middle finger and the width is about the size of 4 of my fingers at the widest point. The entire plug fits pretty comfortably in my palm.

I can’t yet comment on how this toy’s shape feels during anal insertion but the plug sits behind my pubic bone and the neck is long enough to fit without popping out during vaginal use.

The design is far from discreet. This thing is obviously a very large butt plug. No bells and whistles added.

This toy so far does what it needs to do, it has a neck that doesn’t bend and a strong base. Even though I have not been able to insert this toy fully and can't comment on the comfort of anal use, I love the shape, the material and the fact the neck does not bend like softer toys.

The silicone is compatible with water-based lubes and it is recommended to patch test if you want to try a silicone-based lubricant. I just play it safe and use a water-based anal lube.

There are no motors in the toy so it is easy to boil, bleach, or pop in the dishwasher. Otherwise, antibacterial soap or toy cleaner are good to clean this with. I keep this toy stored so it is not touching other silicone toys in case they decide to melt, stain, or something else not so nice.

The Super Big End came in a simple plastic clamshell package with a paper insert that advertises this as a part of the platinum silicone collection. One could keep this for storage, but it was too cumbersome for me to reuse. No storage pouch is included with this toy The toy is in plain view so it is not very discreet, but there is nothing trashy about the package so it could be given as a gift. It is also unisex in presentation, no gendered colors or themes on it.

This is a toy I have been working up to, I opened the package and thought to myself, "This really is way bigger than I thought, challenge accepted". When I use it I have to warm up with smaller toys, some vibrations and eventually my largest dildo (diameter of 1 ¾”). I have tried many positions with this toy and either squatting or sitting help insert it farther. I have found that slow and steady is the way to go with this toy, the warm up is absolutely needed for me. I can get to just about the widest section of this toy before my body tells me to stop. I cannot wait till I get myself over the hill so to speak and am able to wear this plug!
