I don't really have enough good things to say about the Stronic Drei. It is high quality, unique, but most of all, fun and exciting. The texture, size and thrusting motions truly make this toy a serious pleasure machine. When it comes to negatives, I can't think of many except that the "cool factor" of this toy puts most others to shame!

Use

The Stronic Drei is an incredibly versatile toy with a multitude of uses. It's upturned, curved tip is great for hitting the G-spot, or in men the prostate or P-spot. Thanks to the base of the toy, which has protrusions on either side, the Drei is safe to use vaginally or anally, regardless of gender.

There are practically endless uses for this toy! The slogan for the Stronic line is "Trust the Thrust". Since the toy moves back and forth on its own, it can be essentially used hands free. You can prop the base against your fingers, a pillow, the bed, or a partner and let the toy pleasure you on its own.

Being completely water-proof, this toy can accompany you in the shower, or totally submersed in the tub, pool, Jacuzzi, etc. The Drei is also nearly silent, so it is ideal for shared living situations. It's practically unheard from underneath a blanket and can not be heard through a closed door.

For traveling, the 9" toy might take up some room in your suitcase. While it is not discreet in size and shape, pressing the FUN and (-) buttons on the toy at the same time, initiates a lock function so the toy will not turn on accidentally. To then unlock, simply hold the FUN and (+) buttons at the same time, and the Drei is ready to go!

The only people who may not be able to enjoy this toy are those who have a pacemaker in their body. The toy carries warnings that the inner magnets may cause interference with the device, so if you do have a pacemaker consult a doctor before use.

Material / Texture

Well, the material on the Drei is a lovely, medical grade silicone. It's one of the safest sex-toy materials because it is hypoallergenic and nonporous. The silicone has levels of different firmness throughout the toy; the tip is softer and squishier, while the shaft over the majority of the toy is more firm. In addition, the flares at the base of the toy are around medium firmness.

As far as the texture, the Drei is covered from top to bottom in ridges. The ridges feel really nice during use! I was a bit hesitant to buy this toy at first because of the texture, but the suppleness of the silicone makes the sensation a lot less intense than what I had imagined. They feel very pleasing on the vaginal walls.

I underestimated my need for lube on this toy. Because I lubricate a ton naturally, I can usually skip the lube on toys or use very little. However I found that with the Drei, the more lube was involved, the more the toy moved freely back and forth and intensified the sensations.

Anally, the texture for me added a totally different dimension. I could really feel the ridges, especially during insertion and going past the sphincter.

Design / Shape / Size

First off, I love the look of this thing. The angle of the curve, and the upturned tip are what drew me (and my G-spot) to this toy in the first place. It's designed for pleasure, and it delivers.

A quick word about the color; I got this in the turquoise and it is so vibrant! It looks so much brighter in person than what pictures can show of it.

As far as size goes, it's a bit large and bulky. The Drei has a total length of about 9 inches. The total insertable length is around 5 inches before you reach the base, but you can simply insert however much you are comfortable with. Personally, I enjoy the toy more if it's NOT fully inserted. I find that the toy moves more freely and comes in better contact with my G-spot that way. I did try to fully insert the Drei vaginally to see if the flared base would do anything to stimulate my clitoris or perineum, but due to my anatomy it did not.

The circumference around the toy varies a bit, because of the ridges and the fact that the toy widens near the base. One measurement that I took (under the tip, and not going across a ridge) was 4 1/2“ while another (closer to the base and not going over a ridge) was around 5 1/4". The size and texture of this toy are better suited for intermediate to advanced toy users who have had experience with penetration.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I love a toy that has multiple settings and the Drei delivers.

Pressing the (+) and (-) buttons takes you on a journey through 3 different modes. The "Algorithmic Mode”, the "Constant Mode" and the "Dynamic Mode.” In addition the toy starts off at what it calls the "Perfect Start". A press of the FUN button turns the toy off and on for use.

Each of the "modes" has 3 functions, so in addition to the starting point, there are 10 settings. When you turn on the toy, it always starts at the "Perfect Start”, which is a steady back and forth motion.
The (-) button takes you into the Algorithmic Mode. The 3 functions in that are called Dirty Dancing, Gallop, and Rattle. These three are the slowest speed settings on the toy and I would describe them as jerky motions.

The Constant Mode has constant back and forth motions in varying speeds. These settings are called Samba, Rumble, and Quicky.

The Dynamic Mode's settings, the Roller Ball, Vienna Waltz, and Rumba are a lot of fun. Rather than going back and forth at a steady speed, this mode varies between vibration and thrusting at different speeds. It's very unique!

I must say that the buttons on the toy are sturdy yet easy to push and they light up while in use, perfect for use in the dark.

Care and Maintenance

The Stronic Drei is fairly easy to care for and maintain.

As far as cleaning, the toy is absolutely waterproof. It can be completely submerged in warm, soapy water and rinsed clean. It can also be wiped down with toy cleaning wipes and/or spray if you desire. For a more thorough sanitizing, like for sharing between partners, or after using anally, the Drei can be wiped down with a 10% diluted bleach solution, rinsing well afterwards.

Like many silicone toys, the Drei attracts lint, hair and fuzzies, so rinse before use if needed. Water-based lubes are recommended on silicone toys. Silicone lubricant could damage the surface of the toy.

Storage wise, the toy is a little bulky and does not come with a pouch or other storage options. I keep mine wrapped in a drawstring fabric pouch in a drawer. There are a few storage concerns that need to be taken into account with the Drei; it should not be stored near credit cards. The inner magnets could interfere with the magnetic strip and damage them. It should also not be stored next to other silicone toys, to prevent any potential of chemical bonding and damage to the surface of your toy.

There are a few additional care tips included, a couple of them are hilarious! For example, ”Do not poke the toy with pointy objects” and "Do not throw power unit/USB charging cable or toy in the fire." Sorry, but while there are some sex toys I have come across that I may have wanted to stab or burn, it's definitely not this one!

Packaging

The pulsator comes inside of a cardboard box, with an outer cardboard sleeve. The outer box has full sized, brightly colored images of the toy, which give away the box's contents.

The inner box is silver colored and simply features the words "Fun Factory" and "Your Perfect Moment". The inner box contains the toy, a USB charger, and some care and maintenance instructions.

Personal comments

CHARGING:

All of Fun Factory's toys now come with a USB charger. You can use the charger through your USB port on the computer, or any USB compatible wall converters such as those for cell phones, etc. Additionally, the Drei is compatible with any Fun Factory Click N Charge magnetic chargers.

The base of the Drei has two metal points on the bottom. To charge, simply line up the points until the charger magnetically attracts and lines up. Then plug in to your desired outlet. The FUN, (+) and (-) buttons light up in a scrolling manner while charging, and will not be lit when finished.

It seems as though every person with the Drei has reported extra long charging times. I have not had this experience. I have been charging my toy with a wall Click N Charge charger that came with a different Fun Factory toy. My original charge took less than 12 hours. It holds a charge really well. I played with it for hours and it wasn't losing any steam. I recharged it anyway, and it only took 4 hours.

Experience

I'd been lusting after the Stronic toys for about a year, so to say I was excited for this would be an understatement. I was literally dreaming about it. When I had alone time to try the toy out, I wanted to do a billion things with it at once!

I had looked at the Hands Free Guide and was feeling inspired. I tried the toy in an assortment of positions, including a luxurious bath and I just let the toy do its own thing and pleasure me. It took a little while to get used to the new sensations, as it is unlike any sex toy that I've tried before. It's a lot like sleeping with a new partner for the first time; it takes experimentation to find what really works for you.

If I could give this toy a rating of 10 stars, I would. Aside from the other two toys in the Stronic line (the Eins and the Zwei), there is nothing out there that even compares to the unique action of the Drei. Heaven forbid if something were to happen to this outside of the 2 year manufacturer warranty, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this all over again; it's that good.

    I am glad we have another satisfied customer of the Stronic Drei! I was also worried about the texture and found it not to be a problem at all (and usually I can't tolerate much, if any). I also agree with you about not inserting it too far inside and using lots of lube to facilitate the thrusting motion. Thanks for sharing!

    Yes, it really does! I honestly can't believe it hasn't become crazy popular on the sex blogs and stuff yet, I mean yeah it has good reviews but I kind of want everyone to write and rave about it like "Holy crap how did I ever live without one of these because it's that good!" I mean I want the Drei to be as popular as the Pure Wand and Hitachi!

    I know, right? I feel like people treat the Eins better than they do the Drei (fine, it's older, but still...), but the Drei is so much... more. It'll probably become more popular with time; it's crazy new and expensive now. I like my Drei much more than my Pure Wand, haha.     @BlackOrchid: I think the reason it's not been crazy popular on the sex toy review blogs is simply because they are/were unable to get one for free to review. I also think maybe the ones who tried the Eins don't feel the need to push for another type because they have already tried the new technology. I know they'd jump at the chance though to get a Drei. Maybe FunFactory feels they don't need to send out as many freebies because they already piqued interest with the Eins by giving those out to get the new technology reviewed before people would try it at their high price tag?

    @SYN, I love my Drei and I never thought I would because I expected the texture to hurt me as all other ones have in the past. However, based on your experience and others here whom I trust like Rossi, I thought why not try it and boy am I glad I did. I have the Eins, so I figured at the worst, I knew people were trying to find the Drei at a discount and I could sell mine if I hated it.

    I also never expected to like the PureWand because usually, curved things aren't comfortable for me and since that one turned out to blow my mind, I also though the Drei might surprise me...and while I love them both, the Drei requires I be worked up before using, otherwise it is too intense and hurts. But, the PureWand I can use even if unaroused and it will get me there immediately as soon as I insert it and start to pull it back out and it hits the G-spot and BOOM! After a few minutes with that and I am ready for the Drei

    @November: At the very least, should you not like it after trying it, you could always sell it for a good price because I never see used ones offered, but I do see lots of people looking for them. May I recommend buying it from here because of FunFactory's pricing policy? Only at Eden can you get it 30% off using the buy out program! Then, on top of that, you can use your points off the remaining amount!! At $199.00, you would get $59.70 off which would be just $139.30. But, if you have enough points put aside, you can use another $20.90 off (which is 15% of $139.30) and end up paying only $118.41 versus $199.00! You would save $80.59!!! Nowhere that I know of other then Eden can you find any Stronic toy for less brand new. Of course, you have to do a review on it if you use the buyout option, but what a deal!

    @pyratess, yes and no. There's an inner weight, magnets and a motor which propel the inner weight back and forth in a "thrusting" or "pulsating" motion. It would actually be really cool if Fun Factory made a transparent version so we could see the inner workings.
