Stronic drei - pulsating g-spot vibrator discontinued by Fun Factory - review by OH&W, Lovebears

German innovations and engineering has brought us Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Adidas and believe it or not, Gummi Bears. Fun Factory, a German Love Toy company engineered the innovated Stronic Drei. Drei translated from German is the number three. This is the third in their line of Pulsators. Yes, it is a pulsator, not a vibrator. On the Fun Factory website you will find the Drei in the Pulsator section.

Edenfantasys does not have a pulsator section. EF lists the Drei in the Anal section. Works for this reviewer, O.H. We bought this love toy for both of us. Lol.

The Stronic Drei lives up to Fun Factory's statement on their website. This is an exceptional love toy for her and him: in fresh colors, exciting shape and with lots of erotic energy.

This can be used vaginally, anally, solo or with a partner. Ever wanted threesome ? Count the Drei in. Call it a "Dreisome". The Drei also can be used for foreplay by her or him. Can be used for thrusting or self powered by its electromagnets. Being submersible waterproof, it can be taken in the shower or bath.

Bear with me if this review is a little on the long side. There is a lot to say about this innovation.

The insertable part of the Drei is 100% medical grade silicone. The silicone has a slightly matte finish. The bulbous small tip is soft. The rest of the shaft of is fairly firm. However it is coated with a good amount of silicone making it comfortable upon insertion. The entire shaft is deeply ribbed for wonderful stimulation. We believe the ribbed texture can be enjoyed by both beginners and advanced users whether male or female.

Following the hefty shaft is the motor unit. This is made of hard smooth plastic and is waterproof. The three control buttons are clear plastic also.

Upon unpacking, this toy has no smell what so ever.

Here's what came in the box. No, not the swimming stuff. Just what's in the box.

I measured the Drei to be 9 1/2 inches long in total. However only 4 1/2 to 5 inches being insertable. This thrusting machine gradually increases in circumference at each ridge. There are ten ridges in all.

The curved tip is a hair under 4 1/2 inches around; 1 inch wide, measured at the first ridge. The middle (fourth ridge) is 5 inches around; 1 1/2 inch wide. The widest part (7th ridge) is 5 1/2 inches around; about 1 5/8 inches wide.

After the seventh ridge, the angles of the ridges changes. The eighth and ninth start facing the opposite way.

The tenth ridge, last stop, is 3 1/4 inch wide and should guarantee safe anal fun. This tenth ridge also serves to stimulate the clitoris and glans of the head of the penis. In order to do that the Drei has to be in a certain position.

That large ridge and handle also qualifies this toy to be ergonomic. It's easy to handle this 14.5 oz.toy by gripping the large ridge and the thick handle.

We found the shape of the Drei to be perfect! It's curved for a women's G spot. The curvature also makes it easier to take anally. Being tapered, it makes for easy insertion. Both of us enjoyed its thickness and length. Since it starts small at the beginning of the shaft, it should be fine for beginners. Also it does not need to be fully inserted for enjoyment. The small bulbed tip also is great for stimulating the numerous nerve endings in the anus.

The ridges are perfect and a must for a thrusting love toy. Allows you feel the toy better, in our opinion. Smooth is good for vibrators. My Lelo Billy is smooth and rumbles me to pleasure land. Of course it's a personal preference.

Since it is ribbed and matte silicone, it requires more lubricant (be sure it is water based and not silicone based). The ridges have a way of pulling the lubricant in between themselves. OH did fine as she lubricates fairly well once she gets going. Myself, anally had to find the right amount. Too much and it would start sliding out. Not enough? Well, less movement by the Drei. I would start with enough to get it in and consequently add when it felt like it was slowing down. Not enough lubricant can give you a sore butt the next morning. Col !

The Drei is not discreet, but is very attractive. If we lived alone it would definitely sit on our bed mantle. If we were ever to show our stash, the Drei would be the star attraction!

This toy is lockable therefore easy to take on trips. However since we both use it for hours on end,
we might not. We will see, when our annual Vegas trip comes again.

The Drei is simple to operate. I usually find explanations on functions boring. FEEL FREE to skip down to the last 3 paragraphs. Perhaps return to read this after purchasing and would like some assistance.

The control buttons are very easy to use. They protrude up a little and are about 1/4 " wide. They are not hidden in the body like some toys. They can be felt by feel in the dark, you will not have to look for them.

The Drei arrives locked. To unlock, hold down the red Fun button, when the + button lights up, press it. To lock simply depress both the Fun and - buttons at the same time til they flash.

To start the Drei once unlocked, press the red Fun button. It will start rocking back and forth constantly. That starts the Drei. To increase the intensity of rocking/thrusting press the + button. The next 3 depressions each increase the intensity of this constant rocking/thrusting. The 3nd depression, setting no. 4 really gets the Drei rocking like crazy. We both love it!

The next 3 following depressions give what Fun Factory calls the Dynamic Modes. These are a different series of rhythms. They can cycle from 5 to 15 seconds. Then there are 3 settings controlled by the - button. Fun Factory labeled these three the Algorithmic modes.

So, 1 to start + 3 increasingly steady rocking + 3 dynamic + 3 algorithmic = 10 settings. The instructions are easily read in the foldout manual with pictures. There Fun Factory has the names of each setting if you are interested in that. SEE PIC. We just push the buttons, play with each and have a Fun time.

This rocking love toy is super super quiet. It only makes a faint "fluttering " sound and does not get louder as it increases in intensity. Though both of are under the blankets, it's difficult to detect by sound. However you will know, because the user's body and mattress will be rocking! That's how strong the rocking/thrusting movements are!

Fun Factory states this toy is submersible waterproof. I have washed the entire unit under running water. However we'll not about to submerge a $200 toy in the bath tub yet. Maybe next year we will try it in our Jacuzzi/spa.

The Drei is rechargeable and uses Fun Factory's "Click'N'Charge" magnetic technology.


Here's a peek at the manual/illustrations of the setting/patterns.

The entire Drei is waterproof. I merely wash under warm running water and antibacterial soap. I like to air dry our toys and leave it laying across a clean cup. Fun Factory states you can use their toy cleaner also.

We always use a condom whenever it is used anally. We make sure both the condom and the lube are water based, since this is a silicone toy. After any anal action we will wash it several times with lots of antibacterial soap. Can't be too safe !

While the Drei was sitting here by my computer it picked up dust as I typed. The Drei will pick up hair, dust & fuzzy whatever you have near it. The Drei did not come with a storage pouch. We store it on top of a lint free pouch or clean thick plastic bag in a nightstand. I also suggest you do not let cheap silicone toys or TPR's near your beloved Drei.

FF provides a pamphlet listing 24 warnings in 14 different languages. Please read it when you purchase yours. Especially if a pace maker comes near it.

I was not sure if the Drei is under FF's warranty offer.. FF states all vibrating items have a 2 yr warranty. However this is a Pulsator. I sent them a email for clarification. FF did reply and stated :"Yes all of our motorized toys have the same two year warranty. Please make sure to keep your receipt for this time for any claims."
Hopefully nobody will have any problems. This is very high quality and well made. It's great to know there is a 2 yr warranty at it's pricing.

The Drei is avaliabe in two colors, Fuchsia and Turquoise. It was hard to decide, both are extremely attractive. Since we already have a Fuchsia Jopen, we chose the Turquoise. The Drei came with a picture illustrated foldout manual and warning pamphlet and the ClickN'Charge wire. PLEASE SEE PIC ABOVE.

Our Drei arrived fully charged. We didn't know and tried to charge it. The lights did not alternately flash but were all off. We found out from EF member, Wicked Wahine, that meant it was already charged. I wish it was more clear in the manual. Could have used it right away. COL. We use an AC adapter to charge instead of the USB in hopes to speed it up. WW also gave us some excellent advice. Charge the unit after each use. This will save not affect the memory of the battery. If you let it discharge totally, it will take 18 hrs to recharge according to FF. A 90 min session takes 6+ hrs to charge.


Besides not coming with a storage pouch/container, which we can live with, there is a shortcoming of the Drei. Read it the summary section.

The Drei is very well made and worth the money ! It has great power and has many possible uses. Besides the obvious we have used the rocking motions to rub the clitoris, glans of penis head, massage the testicles and stimulate the anus opening. We do plan a Dreisome soon also !

FF states the large ridge may stimulate the clitoris when all the way inserted. It did nothing for OH. Instead she positioned it with the machine end on her tummy and ridges on her clit. However she said it's not that great. (She is a Hitachi gal all the way) In her first 5 sessions she has only orgasmed one time. And that was with the aid of her Japanese BF, Mr Hitachi.

I have used the rocking motions on my penis glans, however it takes a lot of time to get it right. Easier is the testicle massage. I position the Drei across my legs by the testicles, then push down on mt stomach muscles. Works for me ! The anal opening stimulation with the bulbed tip is the easiest to do. Just insert only the first or second ridge.

Allow more time when playing with the Drei. With 10 wonderful setting/patterns We each have gone 1 hr plus in every session with the Drei. Fortunately the Drei has a long lasting charge. We have not experienced it dropping off in power even after 2.5 hrs of play.

I enjoy the Drei for anal play. My first few session, I inserted it all the way The results were just okay. After learning how to use the Drei on my prostate, the results were nearly earth shaking.

Three shots of water based "Slippery Stuff" gel, inserting only two-thirds shaft made a world of difference! I experienced fantastic results! I started with the back and forth motions, settings 3 and 4 for warm up, then went thu all the Dynamic modes and algorithmic modes. Closing my eyes, I would "Trust the Thrusts" as exclaimed on the FF website.

Don't ask me why, but when I close my eyes with any toy they perform better! When your prostate is still humming the next day, you know you hit pay dirt. My latest discovery is to use the Drei for prostate massage and the Lelo Billy on all parts of my penis. FANTASTIC! Makes for a big head if you get my drift.

At first we both thought the thrusts were not long enough. In your hand it will only move about 1/2 to 1 inch. We learned when closing our eyes on the 3 dynamic and 3 algorithmic modes the thrusts felt longer. Those FF engineers knew what they were doing when they create these patterns. Great job Fun Factory !
