The Vixen is a sexy tail designed for users who are into roleplay, or love to dress up and please their partners. Whether you love to engage in pet play or you just like the idea of having a cute and fun tail to sport during sex, this tail is great for anyone. Designed in a plug style, it's meant to be worn anally, and is great for those who are beginners to this sort of play. It sports a fluffy fox-like fur colored tail, and is a beautiful addition to a toy box. Whatever the situation may be (group, couples, or solo) users can wear this tail and feel sexy as it sways with a shake of the hips.

Due to the very nature of what this toy is, it cannot be worn in the shower or near water. It can be traveled with, but the plug on the end of the toy makes it blatantly obvious as to where it goes. If you're wanting to travel with this toy, pack it flat between clothing to keep the plug cushioned and the fur from becoming tangled. When wearing the plug, do not engage in impact play near the insertion point, as it can cause internal bruising if hit too harshly. Do not thrust this toy too roughly if you plan on doing so, as it could also cause internal damage. The flare on this toy may be too small for more advanced users who are used to being stretched to their limit.

The plug itself is made from an aluminum alloy that is non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex, nickel, and phthalate-free. The plug of the toy is extremely lightweight, is resistant to corrosion, and warms to the body quickly. It has no smell or taste to the material, and is great for those who are sensitive to such things. It is uncertain whether this toy is cadmium free. The feel of the plug is very cold to the touch straight from the packaging, and it is not realistic in design.

The tail is said to be made from faux fur or fake fur on the product page. This type of material needs to be cared for and treated as delicately as possible. There is a light smell to this material, but in order to smell it, the fur has to be placed directly under the nose. Designed to be as realistic as possible (in the sense of looking like a tail) the fur is soft and very fluffy in nature. The 'fur' is thick, and feels like a mane of fur when handled as it's very plushy in nature.

The texture and softness of the fur adds to the sensation against the user's skin when shaken or rubbed against the body. Beginners will love the easy-to-insert plug, and won't find it difficult to walk around with the toy inside of them.

The Vixen is designed with beginners in mind. The plug with it's spade shape (think spade as in deck of cards, not the shovel) is easy to insert for beginners, and is not much bigger than the size of a AA battery in length. This could prove as a problem to more advanced users who are used to taking bigger toys anally. The neck of the toy is slender, and the base is much wider than the neck, however, not all users may be able to clench down on the small neck that this toy has. Users who are unable to clench down on the smaller neck could result in the entire plug going inside of them, and should not rely on the fur tail to pull it out again, as the fur could become detached from the base if pulled on too harshly.

The tail is made to look like that of a fox or a wolf, and is a beautiful representation. The toy I received is a beautiful mix of black, silver, and a grey color, but colors may vary from tail to tail. The soft, luxurious feeling of the fur is absolutely stunning in person, and it really adds to the overall design. The tail is attached to the plug by either glue, or a combination of glue and a pin-like plug inside of the metal plug itself. The size of the tail is substantial, and hangs down between the user's legs fairly well when the plug is inserted.

As stated above, the toy can be traveled with. If your bags are checked by TSA and you are easily embarrassed it's best to leave this toy at home. For being 'faux' fur, this toy both looks and feels hyper-realistic and will actually make the user look like he or she has a tail. The plug is hollowed out on the bottom where the fur is attached, and if it has any rough edges, use is not recommended as it can cause internal damage.

The Vixen by Eden Toys is simply gorgeous. The look of the tail cannot be done justice with photos alone, and the feel of the tail in hand and on the skin is remarkable. It's soft, gentle, and sexy once you or your partner has it inserted. The tail is just long enough to brush the back of the thighs and feels lovely when moving one's hips and allowing the tail to swish along with you. The metal plug is lightweight, and doesn't feel heavy at all once it's in. There's no worry about the plug falling out on its own, even with the extra weight of the fur.

Walking around with the tail inserted is easily done, but always play it safe and always make sure that your plug isn't going too far into your body. There is the possibility of the fur tail becoming detached from the plug and the plug possibly becoming 'lost' then. Tugging on the tail itself did not detach the fur from the plug, but you should always take care of a toy of this nature, and treat it as delicately as possible. With proper care and cleaning, this kind of toy should last for years. Overall I feel like this toy is really well made.

What's not so great about this toy is the size. Advanced users won't find the size of the plug too appealing, and it doesn't have length or girth on its side.

Caring for the plug of this toy is easy. The metal plug can be wiped down with a toy wipe or toy cleaner, rinsed with a mild soap and warm water, or you can use isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) on it to sanitize. After cleaning the plug, be sure to rinse the metal thoroughly, and clear it of any soap, chemical, or alcohol residue. Do NOT get water on the fur. The fur should not be soaked through or submerged in water, as this will damage it and cause it to fall apart.

If you need to clean the fur due to unwanted smells obtained through use, use a lightly damp cloth and spot clean the fur without getting it too wet. Allow the fur to sit in a sunny place like a windowsill or in a sunny room to dry and allow any unwanted scent to leave the fur from the ultraviolet light. If you want, you can store your tail with a potpourri pouch of vanilla beans, coffee beans, or any other kind of scent you like to reduce any scents left on the fur. If the fur sheds, this is a natural occurrence and shouldn't worry any user too much unless the toy falls apart completely. Should the fur become detached from the plug, you can try to re-attach it with glue, hot glue, or if you're unable to do so, toss the tail completely, or keep it as a sort of decor.

The plug is compatible with all lubricants, but users won't want to get lubricant on the fur. Water-based lubricant may be the best option if you happen to get some on the fur itself during play as it is easier to clean with a damp cloth. Or, users can use a lubricant shooter to shoot the lubricant inside of them beforehand so that there is less mess to worry about when inserting the toy. Whenever you're finished playing with your tail, it should be laid flat in a cool, dry place due to the delicate nature of the product.

Always inspect toys for rough edges, deep cuts in the material, or broken pieces. If any are found, discard the toy immediately. Do not risk cutting yourself internally on a rough piece of metal or glass.

The toy came packaged in a discreet cardboard parcel box with no labels or stickers labeling what was inside. There weren't any air pillows packed into the box this time, but the tail was cushioned on its own so it didn't bump around during shipment. The tail came packaged in a clear cellophane wrapper that had a tape-like seal that you peel open. Inside the tail was packed nicely and the metal plug was wrapped in tissue paper with a foam covering wrapped around it. The foam was secured with a rubber band so it stayed on the plug. While this plastic wrapper is recyclable, you can keep it and place the tail back inside of it when not in use to keep the toy from becoming tangled, matted or dirty. If gifting this item to someone, it is probably best to place it in a gift bag or box, especially if the person you're gifting it to is easily embarrassed.

There weren't any instructions on use or care instructions included. It would have been nice to have had some care instructions with this sort of item, but the item was packaged minimally with nothing but the plug being covered to protect it under the cellophane wrapper.

As a vegan, I would not normally buy a product like this. My girlfriend loves this product and loves the idea of having a tail. I am unaware if this is actually a faux fur product as many people sell 'faux' fur and it turns out to be real. If you're an animal lover and might be worried about the status of real or faux, perhaps purchase a 'tail' made of silicone or other like materials. I will say that this tail is beautiful, and it really does make my girlfriend look sexy when she has it in.

I was first alerted to the fact this may be real fur due to the feel of it. Faux fur is softer now than it was in the past, but this fur almost feels TOO soft. I also burned a piece of fur that had shed off of it with a match and the piece didn't form a plastic ball, but instead simply sizzled and burned up. There is also the smell. When placed under the nose, I detected a scent much like the one of a rabbits foot I used to have when I was younger and wasn't more aware of animal rights. I do not know whether this is indication of real fur or not, but I am a little sad that this may not be 'faux' as it was stated to be.
