The first thing I noted when I opened the plastic packaging was how soft this thing was. It feels like a stuffed animal. The fur is a furry fabric you'd get at a craft store rolled into tail shape, but it still holds a plush fullness and sheds minimally (as long as you aren't brushing it of knots). The fur isn't hyper-realistic (as in it's "softer" than real fur), but it does remind me of a husky's tail in thickness and fluffiness. The major downside to this toy is the lube problem. Washing it is tricky, as washing any faux fur can result in clumping or ruining it, so I take a damp cloth and very carefully comb out any lube sticking and matting the base of the plug. The tail attached to the plug is pretty sturdy too, but if it should accidentally be tugged off (a problem that could happen with rougher play), simply use body-safe glue to attach it, while checking for metal reactions and body reactions to the dried glue. Just because it's cured doesn't mean it can't still irritate the skin.

Now to talk about the actual plug part. This is a metal toy. It is heftier than silicone, equally as sterile, but has no give. So naturally a small in metal is a lot smaller than a small in a princess plug. Which is fine, but if you are used to something a bit bigger, this might disappoint you in size. This is a "warm-up" foreplay kind of toy if you are into anal play. Because the plug is not big enough to be fun for all night wear. In fact with the metal being slippery, my partner had accidentally pulled it out trying to playfully tug on it. Which was hilarious at the time, and still is. But that would not have been a problem if it was bigger. The plug being metal also comes with a few perks, not just not having any give- it means temperature play, or the ability to use any lube you want with it. Run it over warm (not hot) water to heat it up so it's not so cold.

Another bright side is that it is still a fun and exotic toy to play around with. Whether you're into pet play or just enjoy the aesthetic of the toy like we did. And there is nothing to lose to adding it to your collection. The upkeep is simple, I store it in a Ziploc baggie by itself with a piece of thin foam to cover the plug from any scratching, and a loose tooth comb will keep it brushed nicely. Just don't try to tug any mattes out.
