Billy 2 - vibrating prostate massager discontinued by LELO - review by OH&W, Lovebears

The "Billy Club" (as my wife named it) is for male prostate stimulation and massage. It is a first class, powerful vibrator with a capital "V". The circular control panel is simple to use, has multiple power settings, great patterns and is powerful enough to rumble your entire pelvic region! Made of silicone and plastic and shaped like a slightly curved cigar, it looks like a small billy club, but packs a lot of juice.

I enjoy this toy for warm up before sex with my wife and for solo stimulation. But, it can be used on her as well. We have only used it on her clit, though it can also be used vaginally. Of course it has to be cleaned properly if shared, but I generally only use it on myself as she has her own toys. This one is for me! It even comes with a classy, silky, black travel bag.

Billy's insertable shaft is premium silicone, very firm and odorless. While the shaft is smooth with a faint texture, it's not super, super smooth like the N Joy products. However, it is very easy to insert for beginners and veterans. There is a seam, but you would have to search for it, so it's not noticeable in use. The handle is high grade, glossy white, hard plastic and houses the circular control panel. There is no smell whatsoever to the Billy.

The Billy is designed for easy insertion and simulation of the anus, rectum and prostate. It is strong enough to rumble my entire canal. The Billy is curved slightly like the rectum, so it's a perfect fit. Upon insertion, it felt as small as it looks and my first impression was that it would be nicer if it had a larger head and was thicker overall. I guess many prostate toys are of a similar size; my Aneros MGX is about the same size.

This would fit in even the tightest anus, in case you are wondering, and it's definitely good for anal beginners. As you can see from the pictures on the product page, it's not a penis shaped toy. It's like a little billy club and is easy to bring anywhere in the nice travel bag.

I measured my Billy as 6 3/4 inches from top to bottom. The shaft that enters the rectum is 4 inches long before reaching a 1/8 inch flare above the hard, white plastic, control handle. The flare will not stop Billy if thrust in with force, but this is not designed for thrusting.

I measured the widest width of the shaft to be about 1 1/8 inch. It tapers down to 1 inch.
The control handle is a little rounder and about 1 1/4 inches wide. The circular control panel is about 3/4 inch, just enough to get your thumb tips on to start your pleasure.

The circular control panel has 4 quadrants. Since it will be upside down when inserted in place I will list them as such:
Top quadrant : patterns from one to five (I'll describe the patterns later)
Left :increase power of vibrations
Bottom : go backwards in patterns
Right : decrease power of vibrations.
I hold the middle of the control circle down to turn off the unit.

I rubbed some Maximus, a water-based lube, on it and in it went. I let it sit there for 30 seconds to let myself become accustomed to the new intruder. Using my left thumb, I started the vibrations and slowly went through the power settings. I counted 8 settings. The first one is super low and they increased in intensity as I went. By setting number 5, it was already very intense. And by 8, it rumbled my entire rectum so much I had to go back down 2 settings! Bear in mind, the unit was fully charged.

I then went thorough all the different, delightful patterns. First, you have to hit the left quadrant to start Billy and it begins with a steady vibration. This is the 1st pattern and is very low in power. I increased the power to 3 which gave a nice buzz. With the tip of my thumb, I then hit the bottom quadrant and discovered:
1st : steady vibration
2nd : pulsating
3rd : faster, strong pulsations
4th : very fast, strong pulsations
5th :rumbling, then revving up, then stuttering, then back to rumbling/revving/stuttering; at this point, I had to increase the power to feel it better.

I played with all the settings using different power combinations for about an hour before feeling a loss in battery power in Billy. Other nights, I used lower power settings and had no issues with battery power.

When I started the charging process, a light came on around the circular control panel. It blinks to let you know it is charging (which is a nice feature) and the light then stays on when fully charged. The initial charge took maybe 80 minutes. I only completely discharged the battery once and recharging took a little more than 2 hours.

I would have to say the Billy performed really well and all the settings gave good sensations. Different nights, depending on my mood, I have used different combinations, but the following is my usual preferred usage: I always start on steady vibration and increase the power. Next, I spend a little time on the first two pulsating settings, after which I will go to my favorite, the rumble/revving setting until I can't take it anymore. And finally, I always end with the strong, steady vibration of the first setting.

I will tell you the power on the Billy is tremendous. If turned on to full power I would struggle to hold it in my hand. Imagine all that power in your tush! Unlike my wife's all powerful Hitachi Wand, when Billy is at full power, it remains very quiet.

I also had to learn how much lube to use; if I applied too much, it would rumble out. Some nights I had to put a towel or PJs there to try to block it from rumbling out. Actually, when the tip almost completely rumbles to my prostate, it feels super-duper. However, I found it difficult to reach my arms that far to hold it on my prostate. I think the best solution is to have my wife hold it on the spot.

Billy is easy to care for. I always ensure it is fully charged before use and if it sits unused for more than a week, I will re-charge it. Silicone picks up lint and dust like a magnet, so watch for that, but one should be cleaning all toys before use anyway. When cleaning, use anti-bacterial soap and warm water, or a toy cleaner, but it's important to avoid getting water in the charge port and the circular control. It does come with a 1 yr warranty, but I don't think it covers water damage. The Billy came with a user manual, warranty booklet and a Do and Do Not sheet which states not to: submerge, boil, store in sunlight, clean with alcohol or silicone based solutions. And of course, never use silicone-based lubes with a silicone toy.

I store mine in a nightstand, on or in the silky, glamorous travel bag. If sharing, be sure to clean it thoroughly between orifices, or partners. I never let my wife use it if I already had it first.

It came in an attractive, charcoal-black, cardboard box with a bed for Billy. Billy can sit in the bed mold and the charger in the side compartment. Included was a charger, travel bag, the do and do not sheet, warranty booklet and user manual. The box had a nice attractive Lelo band around it. The entire package could have been wrapped and gifted to someone.

I enjoy the Billy very much. I bought it to replace my Aneros Vice when it stopped working, but I wish I had bought the Billy first, all along. The Billy is very powerful and I love not having batteries to replace or die down.

I have used it as a warm up before using my Aneros MGX. The MGX takes much more work to massage my prostate, but Billy speeds up the whole process. I like the MGX in me while getting oral and having intercourse. One disadvantage of the Billy is it will not stay in like the MGX during those phases of our love making. The vibrating and rumbling causes it to slide out.

I use Billy solo sometimes when she is not in the mood for sex. Once, I even fell asleep with it in me running; that's the time the battery totally discharged. Many of my sessions can go about an hour.

My only small complaint about the Billy is the charging port cover does not stay put. It's purpose is to keep dirt and water from getting into the charging port, but it's so loose it easily comes off during use.

We have used it on her clit and she says, "Oh, it's so strong." I'll then tell her, "It's my turn now, get your Hitachi out!" She has hers, now I have mine.
