For a fantastic feel, push for plush!

The Plush Intermediate was new on my radar, but the type of toy I have been searching out for quite some time. Often I see plugs that are either silicone or really small UR3/futurotic designs that could get lost easily, neither of which is my ideal for anal play. When I found this plug, I grabbed it quickly as it felt like it could be right in the middle of my desire for length/shape retention with the benefit of being plush and soft. I was right. Plus, the base can act as a suction cup or hold a bullet!

Anyone can use this toy if they understand that the material isn't the best, meaning it requires a condom to insure cleanliness, and that the bulges are graduated. I'm more of an intermediate or advanced anal player, so the size worked well for me. Others less experienced might want to take it slow and work up to the bulge at the base over time, but I will say that the forgiving nature of this material makes it user friendly to most who might want to try.

The material is called futurotic, and falls under the skin-like materials end of the EdenFantasys scale. Naturally, being skin-like but not silicone, this toy is super porous and retains a slight odor. My favorite part of this toy and my reason for buying it is the material, not because it's super safe, but because it makes for a happy butt! Even with a condom on, the texture of this toy is a matted finish that can be felt, has some drag to it, and is smooth.

As a non-realistic toy, in shape alone, there is very much a realistic feel in texture and material. Plush is soft and squishy, but firm due to its size. Having fewer bulges than his cousin Plush Advanced, he allows for a smoother feel when thrusting.

The design of this toy is that of a plug with probe/anal bead features. Standing 6" high and 3" in circumference at the base, the Plush Intermediate is suited for action as a plug that stays put, acts as a probe to thrust, or even as a set of anal beads that have 3 graduated bulges along the shaft. The first bulge is about 1.25" tall and 4" in circumference. The following bulges grow from 1.5" by 4.75" to what seems to be close to 1.5" tall by 5" in circumference, finishing off the graduation at the base. The base, again, is 3" in circumference, far larger than any of the bulges and wont get lost if sat on or played with vigorously.

The length of space between each bulge appears to be about .25", which for some bodies will be perfect. For others whose anatomy and anal sphincters might be spaced out slightly more, larger spaces between bulges might be preferable for extended wear and comfort. In addition to the bulges and the soft feeling material, the Plush Intermediate has a built in suction cup in the bottom that can also double as a spot for a bullet like the Slimline or the Micro Tingler. They are both long enough to travel up the Plush to have intense vibration throughout the toy. With a strong suction cup and a place for a bullet, aside from keeping clean, which is a bit of a pain, this toy has a solid design that adds a great deal of variation in use with minimal effort being required.

What I think is best about this toy is that it's easy to use for how much pleasure it brings. The most strenuous part is putting on a condom and taking it off when your done. For use, I was able to place a bullet in its base and have it vibrate while inserted, as well as use it without. Vibration traveled well through the soft material and I could feel it throughout the entire toy. An interesting feature I noticed was the small hole in the base where I inserted the bullet. This hole also doubled as a suction cup, allowing me to mount this plug on the wall. With this versatility, I would imagine you could use it in the shower or suction it onto other materials to add a 'hands-free' option to the Plush.

The Plush also fit into our harness quite well and stayed in place without falling out or getting too floppy. My partner liked the Plush as she found that the softness of the material, and the gentle roundness of the bulge, allowed for really strong thrusting vaginally, which she likes. The Plush is anal safe, my preference, alone with being safe and comfortable for vaginal insertion, and the softness of the material felt like it eliminated the chances of a painful poke from occurring.

To care for this toy, I use a condom and then only water based lube. The material feels great but is of a much lower quality than silicone toys, so lubes other than water based can ruin it. My routine is to wash it, then the condom goes on, fun is had, and the condom is slipped off so that I can rewash it again with my usual warm water and anti-bacterial soap. Given the porous nature and poor quality of the material, I try to keep this toy separated from other toys by placing it in a zip lock bag after letting it air dry. This will insure that it doesn't react poorly with other materials and I get to reuse it without having to buy a new toy.

Packaging is where I felt this toy had company failed. The Plush came in a clam-shell plastic package that is suitable for hanging on a rack, and that's about it! It doesn't do well for storage, it is not discrete at all, and can't serve to separate this toy from other toys that might not play so well when in contact. What I would have preferred was to have this toy show up to me in a plastic bag so that at least then I could store it with my other toys without concern that the combined materials would turn into goo. Some would say that this is a problem with this type of material and is why it's so high maintenance. It's true, but could have a simple fix. My fix is to put it in a zip lock bag with some corn starch. The information on the package itself is adequate, but lacks substance in terms of information.
