This toy is specifically designed to stimulate the prostate (or P Spot) for men. As you can see from the picture this toy is curved so that it can easily be used solo (hence the name Self Pleasing P) but it can also be used by a partner. It is not specifically designed for thrusting but rather to be placed against the prostate in order to transfer the vibrations. Adequate pressure can be applied but be aware that the bend of this toy is pretty flexible so those looking to be able to apply major pressure may need to look at a toy that is more stiff. This toy is specifically designed for anal use and seems very safe. There is no flare at the end but the curve is so drastic that it does not seem able to be inserted completely.

This toy is constructed out of three materials. The massaging end that touches the prostate is made of PVC which is softer than common plastic. The metal ring between the handle and the massager is silver plated (according to the manufacturer's website). The handle is made of ABS plastic and is more rigid like common plastic. PVC is able to spread bacteria so be careful. For us this is not an issue since we use a condom on all anal toys just for easier cleanup and personal preference. It feels soft enough to insert comfortably yet firm enough to apply adequate pressure.

As mentioned earlier, this toy is designed to be used solo to stimulate the prostate but we primarily use it in couple play. The diameter is 3/4" which is perfect for beginners but since its design is prostate stimulation rather than thrusting, the important part is that it reaches your prostate. For me it is the perfect length but I am only one man with one prostate. I have read that the prostate can vary in placement from man to man and I can only assume that my prostate is normal (whatever that means!!!). The tip of the toy is shaped much like a woman's finger: long and coming to a rounded point, but it is not meant to be a realistic replica of a finger. Personally, the dark black color is not attractive for me or my wife but when it is in place I am not looking at it anyway!

I was really surprised about the vibrations in this toy, they were pretty strong. Granted this is only my second vibrating anal toy but its vibrations are slightly stronger than my wife's "pocket rocket" style toy but obviously not close to her Hitachi Magic Wand. This toy has 10 different vibrating functions that are scrolled through by hitting the button beside the on/off switch. The first 3 functions are a simple, constant vibration in varying strengths. The other 7 are various waves and pulses of vibrations. These are my personal favorite! They vary from quick to slow, long to short, and from pulse to wave. The buttons are easy to navigate by either yourself or a partner and it has a memory so whenever you turn it off the next time you turn it on it is on the setting you left it at.

This toy should be cleaned with soap and water or any universal toy cleaner. It is compatible with both water based and silicone based lubes but we have solely used coconut oil as lubrication. (If you have not tried coconut oil it is a must for massages, intercourse, masturbation, manual stimulation, oral sex, anal play, or whatever else you can think of. It uses N style batteries and so far they have performed beautifully although I have not had the toy long enough to test the whole battery life. Although I have not used it in the shower or bath, this toy does claim to be waterproof.

As my first prostate stimulator I was pleasantly surprised at this toy. The strong vibrations, quiet operation, multiple settings, texture, and design were all worth while. For those wanting to explore prostate stimulation I would recommend this toy to you!
