Friendly Little Plug

This plug is wonderful for a beginner. The twisted texture helps keep it in place, and it's small enough not to be intimidating.

Use

This little anal plug is best used when the intent is to plug your partner and leave it there. This toy is comfortable, and after a minute or two to adjust, it stays right where it was put. It just needs that moment or two of being held in place; otherwise, it slides out. The twisted texture gives it excellent grip and helps it stay in place. It just means that thrusting with this toy is uncomfortable. If movement is desired, the best way is to turn this toy like a corkscrew to use the twist as a help instead of a hindrance.

Material / Texture

This toy is made of softer silicone/rubber. This lends it the ability to flex as well as compress slightly. This, in my mind, makes it a wonderful toy for beginners as it is not unforgiving and rigid. It is still firm enough to easily handle penetration, and it is a solid toy. The packaging claimed the toy was odorless, but the toy did smell of plastic-y rubber. However it was not overwhelming and did fade quickly. The twisted texture added to the sensation and gave the toy a bit more traction to stay where it was supposed to. It came out of the package somewhat sticky, but a quick scrub with plain water got rid of the stickiness and left it almost powdery smooth.

Design / Shape / Size

I did like the shape of this toy. It looks silly, but the corkscrew shape did help with insertion when the toy was rotated, and it helped keep the toy in place by providing traction. The only downside to the design was that it was uncomfortable if moved too much, so put it in and leave it in. If you want to move it in and out, rotate with the corkscrew. This is (clearly) not a realistic looking toy, and I feel that makes it more friendly for beginners who might balk at the idea of a realistic looking dildo being used for anal play. Its small size makes it great for travel as it just slips into a bag or purse without a problem.

Performance

This toy is best used for plugging a partner in addition to other play, and it does its job well. It is small enough to be comfortable for a beginner, but it is large enough to stay put and cause the plugged sensation. The only issues I had with it were that it is uncomfortable for thrusting, and more experienced anal players may find it a bit on the small side.

Care and Maintenance

As this toy has silicone in it, keep it away from other silicone toys. The easiest way to care for this toy is to use a condom on it before play and discard the condom after. This toy can be boiled with no ill effects that I've encountered. Due to the silicone content, I'd suggest only water-based lubes or a condom between the toy and the lube, so the toy doesn't break down with use.

    Sil-a-gel does have an odor that some people find offensive. This is a cute little plug though!

    Based on what I've seen in the DJ posts they claim that Sil-A-Gel (an additive) doesn't have an odor, but the rubber/TPR/jelly/whatever they mix it in with does. They aren't super clear on the whole thing, though.

    Interesting that this toy seems to be so dependent on who is using it.

    The plug is PVC and Sil-A-Gel. It has no silicone in it.

    I have the Bubble Butt Ripply and could not get it to stay in for any reason.

    Also, the odor of the Sil-A-Gel has never left any of my two or three Sil-A-Gel toys, even after years of washing. (and I'm not buying DJ's claim that it isn't the Sil-A-Gel that smells, I have enough experience with other toys without it, made of materials DJ claims causes the smell that I am sure it IS the Sil-A-Gel that gives it that distinctive odor.)

    I'm glad you liked the plug, though. How was the sensation? I mean, aside from the thrusting issue you found? I didn't see a lot about that.

    Owning my mistake- I didn't do enough research into what sil-a-gel contained and I did assume the sil meant silicone as the rubbery plastic smell I got when I opened the toy reminded me a lot of silicone.

    As for getting it to stay in place- it just did for me. I didn't have any problems getting it to stay where it was supposed to so I don't know what I did that made the toy react differently for me.

    For the sensation- it didn't have a distinct sensation for me other than the plugged feeling you get with anal toys. Hence why I chose to focus more on the uncomfortable thrusting aspect rather than look for a unique sensation that wasn't there.
