Give Your Prostate a Workout
After years of jacking off and experimenting with simple anal play, I was starting to wonder, "Is this all?" I feel like the Nexus Glide has truly enriched my sexuality. It is not a quick, easy stimulator, although it does still feel wonderful no matter how you use it. It is a toy you can get a lot out of if you put a lot in.

Use
Start by giving the shaft of the toy (the part above the ridges) a generous coating of lube. You don't want to have to re-lube later on.
Lie on your back or on your side. Bending up one leg may help. Orient the toy so that the ball bearing is facing your balls. Press the top gently against your anus. Notice that it tapers off to the front; use the tapered end to insert to make things easiest. Then "hook" it forward, and slowly push the rest in. You may want to gently move it back and forth slightly as you insert it so that the lube gets distributed. As you get to the ridges, you'll feel it "lock" into place.
There are three basic ways to use the Glide once it is in. The first way is to just enjoy the sensation of it being inside you while you masturbate normally. It will put gentle pressure on your prostate as well as your perineum. The best results are achieved by taking things very, very slowly. This will allow your prostate to become swollen and more sensitive. It will also make it more likely that your PC muscles will start to lightly contract on their own, pulling and moving the toy against your prostate.
The second way is to actively clench and release your PC muscles to move the toy inside you. If you use a small mirror you will actually see the toy going in and out. For some guys (not for me), this may be enough to get off. With some practice, you will be able to manipulate the toy to a rather large degree without your hands.
The third way is to use the "handle" on the back of the toy to actively press against and stroke your prostate. You can press and move the toy back and forth against it. I find that rapidly "plucking" the handle to get the inside tip to rapidly poke against my prostate feels best. You can also get up on your knees and rock back and forth, gently grinding the handle against the bed or floor, which will move the toy inside you as well.
You'll want to use this toy when you have a lot of time to enjoy it. It does not add a lot to quickly getting off. I find it's best for solo play, but it could certainly be used with a partner you trust.

Material / Texture
The toy is made of a hard plastic (aside from the ball bearing, which seems to be steel). I think the texture is ideal for prostate stimulation, which benefits from firm pressure. The size is not such that there needs to be any give for it to be comfortable for most men.
There are ridges at the bottom of the shaft, but as far as I can tell, they are purely ornamental. The toy stops at the top ridge when I insert it.
The prong with the ball bearing does have a very small irregularity in the plastic on my toy that makes it feel slightly pinchy when it moves against my perineum, but a little lube rubbed on that part of the toy solves it.

Design / Shape / Size
The design of this toy is very good. Potential buyers should be aware that this is not a toy that is meant to "fill you up." It is big enough to do fairly significant stimulation to the prostate, especially if you employ the third method I mention above. The anal stimulation it does is comparatively small.
The ball bearing is a brilliant idea, but I feel as though it would be better executed with a bigger ball. I like the sensation of it pressing against my perineum, but it leaves me wanting more.
The handle is well positioned for lying on your side but sticks out a bit, making some positions on your back difficult or impossible. I feel like it could be made more flush with the body without detracting from its function.

Performance
I feel like the Glide is meant to be a hands-free toy, which I do not feel it is especially successful at. I am open to the possibility that I am not yet skilled enough to properly manipulate it using my PC muscles alone, however.
It does, however, work wonders if you use your hands. If you're patient, it can take your experiences to whole new levels.

Care and Maintenance
This toy is plastic, so it works with pretty much any kind of lube that is suitable for anal play. It is ridiculously easy to wash. Just wipe it off with a Kleenex and wash it with soap and water in the sink. The ball bearing pops right out with a little tool that it comes with (and attaches to the toy when not in use). If you lost the tool, I imagine a pen or toothpick would also work.

- Easy to clean
- Easy to store
Packaging
The packaging and instructions were very friendly and, I think, would be sufficient for most basic uses. I wouldn't use the box as a storage box, but I suppose it could be used as such.

Personal comments
This toy was a great investment. It really opened my eyes to what my prostate can do. I don't regret getting it, but now I do wish I had something that could provide vibration or perhaps something a bit bigger.
Experience
The last time I used this toy, I had, for the first time, what I would describe as a "prostate orgasm." I was alternatingly jacking off and using my hands and the handle to rapidly prod my prostate. Everything inside me felt very *hot*, and I don't just mean sexy, I mean heat-hot. I felt myself reaching climax, but it seemed to be centered higher up and deeper in my body than normal. I did reach climax, and I ejaculated, but it was more of a continuous, pulsing dribble than a typical spurt. The sensation was less localized and less sharp than a normal orgasm. When I stopped ejaculating, I found that I still felt extremely aroused, so out of curiosity, I kept jacking off and, sure enough, was able to bring myself to a full, normal orgasm within about 60 seconds. I never, EVER am able to climax twice in quick succession (or usually even within a few hours), so it was quite the unique experience.

Thank you for viewing Nexus glide – prostate massager review page!
The thing with most of the toys like this is they take some time to use them to their full potential, some say a year or more. The stimulation is light and you have to learn to focus on that. Myself, I use them just the same as you most of the time. More like a probe/dildo than the hands free way.
Glad you like it, welcome to EF.
