Like the name implies, Anal 101 Intro Beads won't offer much in the way of stimulation to those who want a more substantial toy, but it is an excellent candidate for beginners. The minuscule starting beads and the gradual shift in size to the unintimidating largest size makes insertion easy, while its length is still substantial enough to give a deep, penetrating sensation.

The ring at the base prevents these beads from getting pushed in too far and makes removal easy.

The toy is made from a smooth jelly. Out of the package, it does have a strong smell which fades substantially over time, though it still has that familiar, jelly smell close-up.

While the beads themselves are very firm, the gaps between them are more flexible, which allows them to be easily manipulated to hit just the right spot.

Unlike many cheaper toys, the seam on this toy is not at all pronounced. I'd say, considering the price and the materials, it has a quite high-quality construction.

The sizes of the beads range between 1/4" to 1". From the first bead to the last, it has a length of 7 1/2", with a total insertable length of 8". Every two beads are the same size (so the last two beads are both 1", and so on), which allows a beginner to easily adjust to width and length. While the width may not be enough for someone more familiar with anal play, the length gives a really deep insertion that would be enjoyable for people with a wide level of experience.

Unlike many cheaper products, the beads of this set are connected together by jelly instead of string, which makes these much safer than some other beads at this price point. It also allows this set of beads to be thrusted, similar to what would be common with a more phallic-shaped toy which has a pleasurable, bumpy sensation.

The ring at the end of the toy makes for easy removal, especially when the rest of the toy is slicked-up with lube.

The Anal 101 Beads are a pretty standard pair of anal beads with a good degree of stimulation and length. If you're just starting out with anal play, these will be a good starter pair. I found I had no problems with this toy popping out, which can sometimes be a problem with anal toys.

The only complaint I can really think of is the material. If you're willing to invest a few dollars more, I suggest looking for silicone beads instead. The jelly material cannot be disinfected.

Because these are jelly, they should not be used with multiple partners. I do not think the width or shape of these makes them condom-compatible.

To wash, clean in warm water with anti-bacterial soap.

These are stored easily, and can be stored outside of their original packaging.

Even though the width is rather small for my tastes, I have found this toy to be useful for double-penetration. I can keep it in while being penetrated to give myself and my partner extra stimulation.
