This was our first time using anal beads, we have tried other forms of anal play but we just never tried beads before. These are made of firm, but flexible pink jelly - not great for sharing or sterilization. They will outgrow their ability to be used quickly, a big downside obviously unless you like constantly replacing your toys.

These beads have a little bit of a poking feeling during first penetration, due to the size of the first set of beads, yet another downfall. Once inserted they're flexible, yet firm enough to easily insert or slide in and out with little to no trouble. The bead spacing is good for this too. We had the whole string in rather quickly. The retrieval ring is easy to hold with slippery hands and keeps the beads from being lost.

We'll definitely be in the market for some other anal beads with a bit more girth. We found these were best used for warming up for a night of pegging, as the beads don't have much in diameter to actually give any pleasure by themselves. I think with a bit more girth they would be good inserted during sex. You feel them while they're in, but there is not much stimulation, especially if you're a bit more experienced with butt play. They slicked up very nicely with the JO water based anal lube (our favorite for anal toy play) and cleaned up nicely with soap and water after we were done playing.

We were a little disappointed with these beads. They had the making of a great toy, but they just lacked in size and couldn't accomplish the job they're made for. They could be a good warm-up for someone who has no anal experience but they are definitely not for long term anal pleasure.
