Great Concept with Design Flaws

I wouldn't recommend this product as an introduction to sex toys or g-/p-spot play. The size of the thicker end makes it difficult to insert, and its short length and lack of a base makes it an iffy choice for anal penetration.

The Provoke by Evolved is marketed as a prostate toy, but it is identical to its sister g-spot toy, the Sweet Embrace in every way except color. The Provoke is matte black, and Sweet Embrace is hot pink.

It has two insertable ends. The large end is thick and bulbous, shaped to fit snugly against the g- or p-spot. The small, curved end is less intense and reminiscent of a beckoning finger. Both ends are short and provide shallow penetration of about 2-3 inches. The power button is located in the center between both ends, and can be hard to reach when the toy is inserted, which is a bit of a design flaw.

There are seven vibration patterns; three of which are steady speeds of low, medium, and high, and four escalation patterns. The vibration power is rather mild; it's good, just not great.

This toy took some effort for me to use. The large bulb, with vibration or without, stimulates my g-spot, but it's so wide that it takes a lot of lube and patience to insert. It can also be difficult to withdraw and even slightly painful. It provides a nice, full feeling, but it's definitely not suited for a quickie--at least, not for my anatomy. The slim end is much easier to use, but offers less stimulation.

Provoke is made of hard, matte plastic, and has some drag to it. It's also compatible with any personal lubricant. Plastic is body safe but cannot be sterilized, so this could be disappointing for those hoping to use this toy anally or with a partner. But it can be shared safely with the use of condoms. Due to the lack of a flared base, it struck me as risky to insert the large end anally. The large end works fine as a base/handle when using the small end anally though.

It is waterproof (tested in the tub and it's still working fine), and the size and low sound level make it good for travel.
