This toy is my first wood plug, first wood toy in general for that matter, and reinforces why I believe it is always good idea to try new things. This plug blew me away. I don’t know if this is because of the wood, the design of the plug or a combination of both; but if I had to bet I'd say it is the shape, especially the second bubble. It not only surpassed my expectations, it turned out to be the first plug to do something I’ve been wishing for in a plug for a long time.

The surprises began from the first use of the plug. The plug provided a surprisingly full and intense experience, certainly more than I expected its 1.5-inch diameter to deliver. The first time I inserted it I actually had an orgasm (non-ejaculatory) just from insertion alone. There has been only one other plug that has been able to do that for me (My Severin Medium). Having such an intense and noticeable plug in during intercourse or masturbation proved a great orgasm enhancer, and the intensity good for heightening arousal during foreplay. However, the biggest surprise was that if I wiggle this with my PC muscles ,like you would a prostate massager, I can quick and easily stimulate myself to a hands-free orgasm that way. This finally allowed me to live out a fantasy I’ve had for a long time, bring myself discreetly to orgasm in public, via activating this with my PC muscles. I wasn’t all expecting that from this plug when I ordered it and that alone earns this plug five stars from me. This plug is made out of a wood/urethane hybrid, the packaging makes it clear this is not coated wood like other toys but a hybrid. This hybrid ensures that the wood will not splinter so you do not have to worry about that. This blend is inert, nonporous, waterproof, and is free of phthalates or latex making it body safe. This toy can be used with both silicone, water and oil based lubes.

Out of the box is has a faint wood smell to it and it has no taste. In terms of feel, wood is obviously a hard material better suit for those with at least some anal experience. The finish on this toy makes it completely smooth and easy to insert. Although you won't get to feel the grain of the wood as you would with other coated wood toys.

This butt plug stands a little over 5 inches in total length making it one of the longer plugs in my collection. This plug can be looked at as having three parts: a teardrop shaped head a, bubble under that followed by its neck and base. As I explained above, I thought this design worked very well.

The teardrop shaped head, is about 2 ¾” inches in length, and has a max diameter of 1.5” before narrowing down to a diameter of a little over an inch (approximately 1.1”). The plug then expands out again to a diameter of 1.5 to form the bubble, which is about an inch of the plug’s length. The bubble then narrows down to form the plug’s neck that is roughly an inch in diameter and a little over 3/4 of an inch in length. Lastly, the plug’s round base is a little under a half an inch thick and has a diameter of 1.7 inches. The plug weighs 3.7 ounces.

In terms of looks, this plug is made out of assorted wood colors, from light tan, to a dark oak like color to a dark almost blackish color. Looking at it from the “front” or “back” of the plug, it has the appearance of several wood rings while looking at it from the "side" it has a striped look. From the pictures, I honestly wasn’t a fan of this look, but having it in my hand I fell in love with it. Although not currently available on Eden, this and the other members of the Treeze Series are available in oak and redwood colors.

Lastly this plug is part of Don Wands Treeze series: which includes this plug, a smaller version of this plug the Treeze tear drop plug and two vibrators the Treeze realistic and the Treeze ribbed.

Insertion of this butt plug is easy due to its teardrop shaped head. In terms of retention, the plug stays in during masturbation, orgasm, and extended wear; the only way I could get it to fall out was squatting and intentionally pushing it out. On the opposite end the plug's base is thick and sufficiently wide so I never had any fear that this might slip in. The plug’s base, like most round bases, can bother a bit during extended wear but it was overall comfortable. Its length may be a bit much however and my ass tends to grab on to this high on its neck so it may put some undue pressure on the sphincters. Because of the combination of its size and the hardness of the material I wouldn't recommend this plug for beginners.

You can clean this off with hot soap and water. You can use some rubbing alcohol if you want a more through cleaning. You can’t subject this to more through sterilization/sanitation techniques such as boiling , it bad for the urethane, so you can’t share this between non-fluid bonded partners without using a condom. You can store it in its included pouch, for extra protection. Although it is “waterproof” according to the packaging, you should not leave this submerged in water for a prolonged period as it is after all wood and could absorb the moisture.

It is again compatible with both silicone and water based lubes and although it doesn't say it on the packaging according to this thread oil based lubes as well.

Note: That although other wood toys can be cleaned with a 10 percent bleach solution, it can degraded the urethane on this one so it is not recommended.

The toy came in a plastic shell, the part that houses the toy along with an included storage pouch and lube packet, is cylindrical with a large flap along the top for hanging in retail displays. The packaging is tasteful having pictures and descriptions of the product, there is a small black and white photo of a women , covering her breasts with her hands, on the bottom right corner of the insert flap.

This toy comes with a small (.10oz/3ml) packet of Wet original Gel Body Glide lubricant as well as a storage pouch. This lube is water based but contains Glycerin and parabens. The storage pouch is tanned colored, padded enough to protect your toy during transport or storage, and has a drawstring with slider to help you close it. The pouch measures roughly 5 x 5 inches. The toy fits comfortably inside as long as you put it on a diagonal, as the toy is too long to fit if you put it in upright. The included pouch is one of the better I've seen very nicely padded so much so a use it for my more fragile glass toys.

My one complaint about the packaging the way it was assembled it came with the pouch and lube packet in front of the plug, so you could not actually see the toy when you held the package in your hand. Don’t know if this how they all come if is mine was an error.

For those that like to buy American the plug according to the box is made in the USA, Perrysburg, Ohio to be specific.
