Lock and load is a butt plug which is intended for anal insertion. It can be used while having sex, masturbating or worn just for fun. It comes in three different sizes: 3", 4" and 5". I purchased the 5" Lock and load plug. I have found that for use as a plug it has the potential to be sucked inside of the anal cavity. Although it has a flare to prevent this, the flare is a powerful suction cup that is strong enough to lift a small wooden table but is flimsy and bends easy like a gummy bear when not stuck to a surface. Butt plugs are normally worn to put pressure on the P-Spot, aka prostate gland in males. Also can be worn by females as an aid to tighten the vagina for vaginal stimulation or to angle the penis up towards the g-spot.

The plug is made from a very durable jelly. It is firm enough that you can squeeze it and have very little give, almost like a solid hard rubber ball. It can not be bent more then a couple centimeters while holding. The first 4" are smooth to the touch which makes insertion easy when lubed and feels great sliding in and out. It also holds on to lube well when applied. The last inch before the base consists of two tapering ridges that add a very pleasurable texture feel during insertion. As you get to the base it becomes slightly more bendable due to the jelly being less thick there. It also has a strong smell almost like brand new tires straight from the factory. I have tried washing and soaking it and the tire smell stays strong. I personally did not notice a taste of any kind on the toy.

The entire measurement of the plug including base is just under 5 1/2". The first 3 1/2" of the plug starts at a size of 1" in diameter and increases to 2 1/8" at its thickest. After that it then has 1" that consists of tapering ridges that help hold the plug in place when inserted, the first ridge being about 1 3/4" and the second ridge being about 1 1/2". The last 1" is slightly more bendable due to the jelly being less thick there. Just under the last ridge, the base measures about 1 1/4" in diameter as opposed to the 2 1/8" at its thickest spot. This also aids in holding the plug in place while inserted (aka won't pop out). This part of the plug can be bent up to a 60 degree angle safely without the suction cup letting go of the surface it's attached to. The suction cup itself should be used on smooth surfaces only. Any sort of grainy texture to a surface, say like paint or a ruff finish, will cause the suction cup to let go during use. The design, shape and size of this plug does not make it suitable for beginners in anal play. I also would say this plug is not discreet and wouldn't suggest it for traveling. The color adds a futuristic feel to it that I find adds to the excitement of the plug.

I love that the suction cup on this baby is very powerful and puts an instant smile on your face when placed down with force, making a smacking noise of approval. It also has an easy release tab on the suction cup which makes it just as easy to remove it from the surface as it was to smack it down. I found this great for riding and grinding and hands free which makes for lots of possibilities for masturbation or sex. I do not trust the flare to prevent this plug from slipping in so I always use attached to a surface.

Lock and load is very easy to clean using non harsh antibacterial soap or toy cleaner. I would suggest air drying though as it collects dust, fuzz and hair very easily from towels or cloths. I would also recommend that you store it separately to prevent any unwanted chemical reactions it could have from contact with other toys. Due to the material, it can NOT be sterilized so use a condom, especially if sharing. This will also lengthen the life of your toy and protect you from any chemicals that may leach out of the jelly. It calls for water or silicone based lubes, personally I have been using water based and it works great.

The packaging was clear plastic with plastic snaps that can be opened and closed multiple times. It has a cardboard insert that had a brief description of the plug. It did not come with any instructions to speak of other than to wash before and after every use and to always use lubricant with it. It did however say talk sex with Sue Johanson on it, which is pretty cool in my opinion. The packaging could be used for storage which is what I am currently using it for as it keeps the toy safe and from touching other toys I own.

For me I found that using the suction cup to stick it to the surface of my tub and grind and ride and insert over and over again was amazingly stimulating and offered me something unique as opposed to your average plug. Due to the tapered base, the plug did not fall out and was comfortable to wear for a short period of time which could have been longer if I wasn't concerned about the plug being sucked inside. I felt full and hit my p-spot direct on every insertion.
