The Lock N Load butt plugs presented by Cal Exotics and sexpert Sue Johanson come in three insertable lengths: 3", 4", and 5". I own the 5" and it is absolutely NOT for those just beginning to get into anal play. For those with little to no experience in the butt plug area, I would recommend the 3", or another butt plug even smaller. The 5" option has a diameter of 2.5" so a lot of warm-up is required, even for those with more experience. Patience and plenty of lube is highly recommended. Since the 5" plug is so big, use caution if you are planning to also use any vaginal toys. This big boy will stretch you out making your vagina extremely tight.

These selection of plugs are all made of jelly, so expect a somewhat strong scent when you first open the package. The scent wasn't bothersome to me and it completely disappears with a few washings. Jelly is made of polyvinyl chloride and cannot be sterilized or boiled, so no sharing allowed unless you use them with a condom. The plugs are compatible with both water and silicone based lubricants. I'm a fan of this particular plug because of the clear purple jelly and the firm, smooth texture. Beginners may want to hold out for a plug that's slightly softer in nature, something with a little more "give". These plugs are strong and quite rigid. Be warned though, some jelly toys DO contain phthalates, and I've seen no information saying that these particular plugs are phthalate-free.

The 5" plug is a hefty purple ass rocket, or as my boyfriends calls it "the unicorn horn". Even the narrower head of the plug is quite large and takes patience to insert. The plug itself tapers out into the full 2.5" diameter, then after the big "hump", it tapers back down in a succession of three soft ridges, then the flat suction-cupped base. Once fully inserted, it is wonderfully filling and stretches you out magnificently. Even advanced users will be surprised by how filling this plug is. The suction cupped base lets you use hands-free insertion if you wish, but this baby takes some work to insert, even after a few times.

This is my go-to plug when I crave fulfilling anal play. It stays in comfortably for a long period of time (for me, that's 25 minutes or so). This is not a plug to wear around the house. When you stand up, the flat base of the plug bends in half and is quite uncomfortable. When I use it, it's almost always on my back or belly, in a flat position. I tried walking around with the plug inside me, and due to its size, it kept trying to slide out. This doesn't happen when I'm lying, or even sitting down. The 5" plug isn't for everyday use; I consider it more an occasional treat. I wear it when I'm giving my boyfriend head, or before a vigorous lovemaking session that includes anal penetration.

As I mentioned earlier, warm-up is required. Never try to shove in a butt plug hastily, and only play with the plug when you are relaxed and well-lubed. Since it is made of jelly, it is compatible with both water-based and silicone lubes, and I would definitely suggest using a silicone lube since they last much longer. The 5" plug takes a lot of patience. Don't rush it. I wouldn't recommend such a big plug to wear during vaginal intercourse. I have a tight vagina as is, and when my boyfriend tried to enter me while I was wearing this particular plug, the tightness was incredibly painful and I removed the plug right away.

The plug is easy enough to remove, but again, due to its size, it may take time. The best way is to bear down like you're having a bowel movement and GENTLY pull out the plug. DO NOT yank this plug, or any butt plug out suddenly. It could cause rectal damage and harm, and who knows what will come out of that end when such a shock is provided.

To clean this jelly plug, just use mild soap and lukewarm water. Again, because it's made of jelly, do not boil the toy. It cannot be totally sterilized so sharing requires condom use. The 5" plug is large and not at all discreet, so I wouldn't leave it out in the open. It hasn't attracted much dirt or lint so far, but it's very easy to clean so it wouldn't be a problem. I would recommend storing it away from other toys since there is no mention of being phthalate-free. This plug doesn't retain any smells after being used, and as I said before, the "new jelly toy scent" disappears with a few washings.
