My Very Own Gold Kaleidoscope!

Ever since I joined Eden, I have wanted to get my hands on the Gold Laced G by SSA Glass. Unfortunately, it was out of stock for months. I found myself repeatedly going to the product page just so I could see if it was back! Finally, I was able to get my hands on it. It’s so beautiful! I wish I could just display it on my bookshelf; unfortunately people could probably figure out what it is.

The Gold Laced G is a beautifully made Pyrex glass dildo that can work either vaginally or anally because of its flared base. Since it’s glass, you can literally use it pretty much anywhere because it’s waterproof. Either way you use it, be careful when thrusting since glass is so hard. For temperature play, this glass toy can be placed in warm water or placed in some ice water for several minutes before playtime. But make sure you test it on your wrist before use so you don’t hurt yourself. Glass is an excellent conductor of temperature!

The Gold Laced G is sure to please many men and women because of its flared base. It is ribbed with gold along the shaft making this dildo great for someone who loves texture. I really loved the Gold Laced G both anally and vaginally and definitely recommend it.

If you like harder dildos that provide more pressure, glass is a great option. I found no smell with this glass dildo. The Gold Laced G is ribbed with gold across the shaft. Even though this has texture, it would still be a great textured dildo for a beginner. If you know you like texture in a dildo, whether anally or vaginally then try the Gold Laced G.

Glass is very safe to use as long as you are careful not to thrust to hard. If you’re a woman, you don’t want to bruise your cervix! It is a very safe material and is non-porous and hypoallergenic. It rates a 10 out of 10 on Eden Fantasy’s safety scale. It is hypoallergenic and non-porous. You can even share this glass dildo; just be sure to sterilize it between each use.

I love the design of the Gold Laced G. It is very pleasing to the eye. The actual shaft is on the smaller side, so if you like bigger dildos this may not be for you. The shaft is filled with gold ribbing and the top of the Gold Laced G is split down the middle to simulate the top of a penis’ head.



The Gold Laced G is 6 ¾” long and has an insertable length of 6”. It is 1” in diameter and has a circumference of 3 ½”. It does have a slight curve to help stimulate your G-spot. It is important to note that every Pyrex glass dildo is made slightly different so yours may look a little different than mine.

The Gold Laced G can be used a variety of different ways. It works great for vaginal penetration. I really had fun with it. Be careful when you thrust. Start out slow because the texture can be overwhelming at first. Although I didn’t have a G-spot orgasm, I still enjoyed this vaginally. My G-spot is difficult to please. The end makes a really good handle. It’s only 9.7 ounces so it’s fairly light for a glass dildo.

If you are looking for a smaller textured dildo for anal play then this could work well for you. I found that I preferred this dildo for anal use. I just recently started playing with my back door. The Gold Laced G felt really great to me. It was the first textured dildo I’ve tried in my butt and I really liked it! I think the Gold Laced G can be a great first textured dildo for you if you are a beginner to anal play. I’m so happy this has a nice flared base! I never have to worry about it getting lost. If you do use this dildo anally and vaginally, make sure to sanitize it after each use.

Glass is great material to play with because it is sterilizable and easy to clean. You can boil it in a cloth or even wash it in the dishwasher! I personally just wash mine in warm water and soap. It’s fairly easy to clean, although fluid can sometimes get caught in the head of the dildo.

You can use whatever lube you would like to from water to silicone.

The packaging for the Gold Laced G wasn’t anything special. It came in a red storage bag protected by bubble wrap. I was a disappointed with the storage bag that came with this glass dildo. It’s probably my least favorite out of all I own. It’s a cheaper material, isn’t as soft and doesn’t stay closed very well. However, this isn’t a deal breaker for me just a disappointment. You can always use another storage bag.

I've had the Gold Laced G for many months. When I first received it, I mainly used it for my vagina. I really love the textured feeling. It is a little small for me, but the texture makes up for it. Recently, I began exploring anal play. I started out with smooth silicone butt plugs. I decided to try Gold Laced G for my butt because it is fairly small and has some texture to it. I really enjoyed it. It was super fun gliding it in and out slowly. It actually really turned me on using it anally. I prefer this glass piece anally. It is my favorite glass piece because of its variety of uses.
