This is obviously an anal plug, and its best function is as such. However, it can also be used for vaginal penetration provided that you aren't switching from one to the other and back without cleaning. You also need to remember that if thrusting a glass toy vaginally, it can bruise the cervix. This means be cautious! I love that the base is more of a handle, and I think this makes it easy to grip and rotate or move without too much discomfort or inconvenience. The good-sized base also makes this a very safe anal toy. I prefer chilling this glass toy to warming it, but either can be done. This makes it perfect for those who enjoy temperature play or for those who need to ease into anal play. I'm not saying that it won't be intimidating for beginners due to size. However, with a little bit of lubricant, I find glass to be a preferable material for comfort because of its lack of drag. Size queens will probably look elsewhere. There is plenty of girth to this toy for the average user though. Last, but not least, I don't find that glass is the best material for travel. While the lack of batteries will help you avoid an accidental rumbling in your luggage, glass also has to be packaged more carefully than say silicone.

This is made of borosilicate glass. This is a ten on the safety scale because it is less dense than normal glass, which makes it less likely to break. It is also non-porous and can be sterilized, which is a large safety benefit. The boron in the glass actually helps to keep this from breaking during temperature changes as well. I have always loved glass for its lack of smell or taste. It also has no drag when used with enough personal or manufactured lubrication. This makes it really appealing for anal play. While this plug is obviously not a realistic toy, it does have a tapered head. The glass is firm, but it is also smooth. The lack of texture should put some inexperienced users' minds at ease. I personally don't care much for texture in anal toys, so this is perfect for me.

This is not a deep blue, which I would've preferred. However, I do prefer it to the clear. More colors in glass toys would also be fun. Glass does tend to have a heavy feel to it in relation to other toys, and this plug is no exception. However, it's not too weighty to be comfortable. I personally find the design very effective. I'm a huge fan of handles for bases. I also think that this plug stays in fairly well even during vaginal penetration with another toy or by a partner provided that you don't use too much lubrication. I will say that I never use two glass toys for double penetration as I'm far too scared of them clacking against one another. Next, I wouldn't call this plug discreet even in its velvet-like bag. Maybe it's just because I've seen so many glass toys come in this kind of bag, but I instantly see a small pouch and think "sex toy packaging!" Also, I find this size to be perfect. I started out with the Anal-T and some small beads when I began to experiment with anal play, but they never felt filling. I do not have that issue with this. I also tried the Lollipoppers pink plug, and due to the drag it felt larger than it actually was and could be uncomfortable at times. I also do not have that issue with this plug thanks to the material.

Can I say again that I love this handle? I LOVE it. I think that all glass toys should have handles for bases. I have another glass toy with a handle for the base, and I would have it buried with me! Haha! Then, I find the girth to be perfectly filling with this plug. The lack of texture is actually a huge pro to me as well because I find anal texture to be uncomfortable. What's not so great about this toy? I honestly can't think of anything that would keep me from purchasing this toy or from recommending it to others. There is no suction cup, and I don't find it to be harness compatible. However, I think it works well as what it is...a plug. Can I also say on a TMI note that I find that glass rarely makes the mess that other anal toys make if everything is not perfectly clean. Basically, not a lot sticks to the surface of glass. I know it's not a pretty thing to think about, but it is hopefully useful.

Glass can be sterilized by the boiling method. It can also be cleaned using soap and water, toy cleaners and wipes, a 10% bleach solution, or through the top rack of the dishwasher. The handle keeps this item in place in the dishwasher, so it won't clank around and draw unwanted attention. Glass is one of the easiest materials to clean, and it is also compatible with every lube (oil, silicone, and water-based). It's also pretty easy to store. The only thing that I suggest is storing this glass toy in its bag with the bubble wrap around it to prevent it from clanking up against other glass toys. I also often tie the top of my glass toy bags to keep them from being tipped/dropped out by accident. Finally, glass doesn't melt or anything crazy, so it really doesn't have to be kept in any special area.

This plug comes in the standard red velvet-like drawstring bag that many of the glass toys come in. I do not know if it's actually velvet, but it doesn't feel like it to me. On another note, I have read as of late of many of these toys coming without bags. I truly appreciate having the bag for storage, and I keep the bubble wrap that comes inside of the bag to store my toys as well. If the bubble wrap does eventually wear, it's easy to find a replacement and can be cheaper than buying a padded bag. I haven't had any of my glass toys arrive in anything but perfect condition when wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in these bags. *Knock on wood* There are no included instructions, but there are no tricks or gimmicks to this toy. Basically, I would find instructions to be unnecessary even if I didn't review sex toys as a hobby. Finally, as previously stated, I would use this packaging for storage (and I do). However, I find it kind of lackluster for gifting. I wouldn't just give this to someone in this pouch without any wrapping or dressing it up in some way.
