Good for beginners. The small one is not intimidating and by gradually increasing in size, it can be inserted slower, if needed. One of the safety precautions with this is the material it is made of. It is a semi-porous material, which makes it hard to sterilize. This would go in the non-sharable toy list. Anyone could use this one and work it into the bedroom with no problems. It comes with two sizes, small and large, so you can choose which one. For a beginner, I would say, start with the small and work your way up. Some may be fine with the small and others may prefer the large. You get both so the options are on hand.

The crystal jellies are made of silagel. It is non-latex, which is a plus when allergies are a concern. The jellies are soft, slightly squishy, bendy and yet firm. They also have a ribbed design, which adds to the stimulation. They can be pulled and stretched without breaking.

I liked that the crystal jellies came with both sizes. I found, for myself, the small was just fine. The design is not intimidating as some of the other anal toys can be. The texture and material gives the jelly enough firmness to make insertion easy, yet enough give to make it comfortable.

Overall, I thought it was a great toy. The only thing that would be a drawback is the material. While it has antibacterial components to it, it will be hard to sterilize. The jellies performed well. Since there is not a battery component to it, there is no worry about noise and they are waterproof. They were comfortable and easy to use, even for a beginner.

This toy can be washed in warm water with antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner. Simply air dry. You will want to use lubrication with this. I use the Sliquid line of lubricants. There are no special storage instructions, but it does collect dust and lint, so you may want to rinse it off before use.
